Company texted me with an Amazon survey. The survey was to review Amazon and receive a free flashlight just pay shipping cost of 4.95. 3 weeks After completion of the survey and providing payment information, the company took another $49.95 from my account. The fee was also set up as a recurring payment once a month. I disputed the fee and closed the card so this issue would not happen again. The dispute, completed today, was resolved by my bank contacting "Gadgetsandflashlights" and getting a refund for $32.46 only because the flashlight had been opened and I did not know how I was going to return it opened and then lose my $4.95 shipping fee. I also contacted the company and was told the flashlight was a review only and it would cost $49.95. The survey was misleading and had nothing to do with Amazon (I called them also). It falsely advertised a free gift for completion of the survey and, without authorization, stole funds from my checking account.

We did reply the day we received the notice. We have also spoken to the customer and refunded. Here are the customer service notes.

02/20/20 5:02pm Customer(wife) called with regards to their refund , explain charges ,informed the prev agent already refunded $32.46 , insisted that they haven't receive any refund at all , already coordinated with their card provider about the refund but still no refund was posted , escalated

As we all know, it can take 5-10 days for bank to refund the funds and place back in customer's account.

Attached is the most recent activity. This company is still accessing my account and drawing money. I want all my money back and I want this company fined for its devious and corrupt practices. I sincerely would like to bring a "class action" against them for their practices as I am certain that they have defrauded many innocent, hard working, blue collar people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars with their BS practices. Since I can't do that because they are rich and I am poor, I want my money back "all of it" to include the initial $4.95 and maybe, just maybe, someone out there sees this and can do something real about it.

Have customer check with the bank about the refund. It should have hit his account by now. Record clearly shows the refund occurring on March 8th.
