Our agency consistently corresponded with the customer service department of the insurance company we represent involved in the complaint The processing and subsequent mailing of the refund check took longer than expectedWe made follcalls to the insurance company to try and expedite
the process We apologized to the client and wrote an agency check to them in the amount of the refund to resolve the issue
Claims are handled directly by *** Insurance, not the agency. The extent of our involvement is limited to facilitating communication between the two parties, which we handled to the best of our ability. We do not have authority to provide rental cars or settle a claimUpon receiving a
call from *** *** on 10/3, we contacted *** Insurance on behalf of the ***. We obtained information regarding the status of the claim from a representative in the *** Insurance claims department and relayed that information to *** ***. We also provided an alternative means of communication with the adjuster and *** Insurance claims department to give them options for points of contact. We left a message with the adjuster letting her know the *** were upset with the handling of their claim. We provided this assistance within the same business day as their call.*** Insurance has assured us that they have contacted the *** regarding their claim concerns
