Review: We bought a new home from [redacted] in 2007. There is a major defect with the guest bathroom shower faucets (x2). They spin continuously when you turn them around and you [redacted]'t know if you are able to get the correct temperature water or if the water will turn off at all. We had a plumber come to the house to "fix it" but when he opened it up, he saw that [redacted] had used an extension plastic internally to get the external handle to rotate, instead of just the original parts of the shower faucet. The extension is weak and was never a good solution. The plumber said the only solution is to replace the whole unit and that would cost us thousands of dollars. I have tried to reach out to [redacted] (by phone, email, via our mutual realtor who sold us the home) for several years. Finally on Feb 11, 2014 he responded saying I am out of warranty for this but that he would still come with his plumber to take a look. After that, he stopped communication again when I tried to set up a time. In my opinion, this was not built to code and he should fix it for us. I am requesting he come to our home with his plumber, and fix it. We have not been able to use those shower heads and we live in a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home and all 4 of us have to use the Master Shower. There are a few other minor concerns we have about the house (eg; vacuum outlet issue, cement stains on tiles, etc which I did bring up with [redacted]'s coworker within the first year as well), but this is the biggest priority. Please help us by asking [redacted] to fit it. This has dragged on for years.Desired Settlement: 1.replacing the shower faucets in both guest bathrooms as soon as possible. PLEASE.2.fixing the vacuum outlet in the kitchen as it does not have high voltage power.3.removing the cement stains from the master bathroom tiles
