One part of the work performed under this contract was for the installation of a Discharge for Downspout to be installed under a slab concrete driveway. The work involved cutting cement for the drain pipe, laying a drain pipe and resurfacing with concrete. The concrete work showed two cracks the following week. A complaint was made and no response from Foundation Supportworks of Idaho. Now, weeks later the two cracks are larger and three more cracks have surfaced, proving that the concrete pour was not correct and the job was done incorrectly.
I contacted the salesman Jeff C via email. Our email exchange continued for a couple days. After a week of not hearing from the office, I called and spoke with the office manager. She told me she would talk to her team and send out a concrete crew to fix the problem. After not hearing back for a couple weeks, I called back. At that point I was told that I would be phoned by Steve B the employee who poured the concrete in order to set up an appointment to look at the problem. That never happened. I am finished with the failure to respond to the problem and just want to be refunded the amount necessary to redo the job correctly.

I want to apologize for not getting back in a timely fashion. We are not able to refund the amount requested but we are willing to redo the section of concrete that is cracking. Our team is able to complete the work on September 5th at 930am. Please let us know if this time will not work for you and we can pick a different time. Thank You!

I am rejecting this response because:

I do not trust the Foundation Supportworks of Idaho to perform services on my property. Their past actions have proven to be dishonest, untrustworthy and they have wasted my family's valuable time. I have attached photos of the cement work that I will be getting redone. I demand a refund of $1500 to settle this complaint.

They came out and measured the front of my home for a new roof. It is only one third of my roof. On Jan 10. 2018.
We signed a contract that day for $6120.00 for the roof and gave them a deposit of $ 1836.00 We were told we got a discount for signing that day and we got a discount for keeping there sign in the yard. ( where it been ever since ) about 3 weeks ago they came for a material measurement . Today 3/6/2018 they called to say we needed to pay another $ 3305 00....I have a contract that say after 3 day Im stuck. How is it they can do this. We're on a fixed income. 3305 is a lot of money. What can I do? When talking to Krisandra at ABC seamless, Her only suggestion is that we come up with the money or she'll send our money back to us. I feel totally taken advantage of . Almost wondering if this whole thing was a big scam. Any help you do would be appreciated .

At ABC Seamless, we take pride in ensuring our customer’s satisfaction. Unfortunately, we did not meet the customer’s—or our own—expectations. We hope the customer will accept our sincere apologies for this inconvenience.
This is clearly a mistake from our side and we take full responsibility for it.
At this time, to show that we are not trying to take advantage of or get more money out of the customer, we have returned their deposit, closed the work order, and we have taken steps to ensure that this will never happen again.

Sometimes sorry doesn’t make it all better. This is simply a breach of contract . A company not doing what they are contracted to do. We do agree that it’s ABC seamless fault. But they had our money for 56 days before they told us they didn’t want to do the job. My husband spoke to the company 4 times in the 56 days. 3 time about getting a start date. Also there representative came out twice, when we signed the contract and then again on February 12 to get a material count. There were many opportunities to have mentioned there was a problem. We started looking for a roofing company in the slow month January we thought we could get a good deal. Now that it’s spring.......
ABC seamless really needed to be more honest!!
It doesn’t take 56 days to tell the truth. This is a breach of contract. The reason they giving us isn’t holding up, they say it’s a lot bigger. 1300 sq ft. we had it remeasured and it just over 900 sq ft. When ask to come remeasure, lots of excuses but no remeasure.
To us it looks like a easy way to get a free loan, Biding a job at any price, get the deposit, worry about giving it back in better times. Really a poor way to run a business. Or is it just to hard of a job for this company? My roof is steep and has A couple of dormers. It really will take a professional roofing company. Maybe they know there just not professional enough to do it. Their actions definitely show they’re not professional. OR
Maybe it's that they think old people won't do anything about it. Well this time there wrong.

On July 21, 2017, I paid $3,048.25 as a deposit for work on foundation at same address as the complaint. They said they would get in touch with me in a couple of weeks. They called on August 4, 2017, and said they would be back in a couple of weeks to set up a time to start the work on the foundation. I've heard nothing so far, so called them on August 28, 2017, and was told the office couldn't do anything about it, but would talk to the production crew, and the production crew would be in touch with me. I still heard nothing, so I contacted them again on September 11, 2017, and was told there was no one the office to talk to me about the issue and am still waiting to hear from them. I was informed, at the time the deposit was paid, that the foundation work would be taken care of before bad weather started. So far nothing has happened. Looks like they skated with my money!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. My biggest concern was their lack of response to my phone calls to office when I was trying to find out when the job would be started. When they got out here; the work done on the house was fast and efficient. Michael, Nick and C.J. were great to work with and seemed highly knowledgeable and seemed like really nice guys. GOOD WORKERS! I'm very happy with the work and am EXTREMELY happy that the work got done before the nasty weather starts. Thanks to the crew for getting the job done so quickly.
