In response to the complaint filed 8/25/15:Everything stated in the...
complaint from the customer is the truth. What has been omitted from the complaint is that my bookkeeper sends out follow-up emails after work is complete to verify the customers are happy. The customer responded to this email stating the situation and that he was unhappy with the damage he felt happened here at the shop. My bookkeeper forwarded his email to me for review. I read his email and replied stating that I was more than happy to relook at the damage on the car and reassess. I never received a response from him again. My position remains the same. If it is damage he thinks happened here, I would be more than happy to take a closer look at is and repair at no cost to him. I have spoken with the consumer and attempted to remedy his complaint by having him bring the vehicle in and having us repair the damage that he alleges happened here. After our conversation he decided he did not want us to repair the damage and requested to be reimbursed $100 for consideration for the damage.
