Review: I purchased a used motorcycle from formula one motorsports. I was told that before I picked up the bike, it would be checked out to make sure it was safe and roadworthy. I picked it up and while driving it home, I noticed a loud sound coming from the front brake area. I made it home and took it to a local mechanic since I live rather far from the dealer. The mechanic told me the front caliper was not working and it looked like someone had tried to heavily grease it to make it work. I called formula one. The salesman who sold me the bike told me that they (the dealership) shouldn't let a bike leave with issues like the one I was describing but told me I should have brought it to them. I told him it was too far to drive with no front brake and he said he would talk to [redacted] and get back to me. I never from them again. I tried calling, and no response. I had to pay $500 dollars to get the brake replaced at a local shop so that the bike was safe to operate.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the brake replacement I had to pay for. I was told the bike would be roadworthy when it left their shop.

also, this complaint sounds like a way to get some money for nothing.

I would contact the [redacted]. calling a salesperson will never get you anywhere.
