From:? Formals XODate: Thu, Jun 29, at 8:PMSubject: Complaint # [redacted] To: [redacted] @myRevdex.com.orgWe are sending this copy in response to complaint # [redacted] We have been addressing her concerns from the beginning? She came in the store on April 30th and e-mailed us that night and we contacted the designer immediately about getting beads to fix the dress? Her next e-mail came on May 3rd and she wanted an update and we let her know that we were getting beads to fix the gown and we would let her know when they arrived? On May 4th she e-mailed us again saying she was going to contact the designer? Once she contacted the designer it was faster for her to send it directly to them then for us to get beads and fix it? The designer corrected without charging [redacted] and they also shipped it back to her day air from Florida so the other girl could wear it to her prom on May 20th? So, the dress was worn twice and the customer stated in her e-mails to us from the beginning that she was going to sell the gown anyway? The designer easily spent $to fix the gown between paying a seamstress and the shipping back to [redacted] ? We have her receipt for the shipping for the designer and it was $? We thought she was satisfied with getting the gown fixed but it seems like no matter what is done she wants more? This issue had been resolved in our minds once the gown was fixed and sent back to her.Formals XOKing of Prussia Mall ###-###-####Oxford Valley Mall ###-###-####

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:As I have stated and documented, XO Formals has given us the run around, has been untruthful about our interactions and communications, has not stood behind their product, and refused to address my concerns until I contacted the Revdex.com The Business bluntly stated we did not come in until after days after the prom; this however was proved when I sent proof to the Revdex.com that I in fact called the store the night of the prom (4/29) and drove minutes, each way, to the store the next day (4/30) After that first interaction, the store refused to return my emails or phone callsuntil of course they found out the Designer blamed the store for the poor quality the dress was in The store denies that we spoke on the phone the night of the prom when we discovered the defects in the dress The store denies that we were told to bring in the dress the next day (April 30th) and that they said they would do something for us and give us money back The store never addressed the fact that the Designer did blame XO Formals for the poor shape the dress was inThe store denies that they would not respond to me so I had to contact the Designer directly to get the dress fixed The store does not address the fact that they promised to reimburse me for shipping and then never returned my emails or phone calls so I could get reimbursed In the response back to you, XO Formals made it sound like they took care of the shipping, when in fact I did. In summary, XO Formals has put us through a lot of unnecessary time and effort, and did not stand behind their product or promises They refused to give us money back for the dress, lied about our interactions, stating we waited so long to address the flawed dress (thankfully we kept documentation of everything) when in fact we called that night, they refused to reimburse us for shipping, and refused to communicate with us until we contacted the Revdex.com We have wasted so much time, energy, and MONEY because of the poor business dealings and because of their inability to tell the truth and because of the poor quality dress that was sold to us.We did try to resolve this with XO Formals, however they refused to communicate with usUnfortunately, resulting in us opening a claim with you XO Formal's original response to you provided nothing but non-factual information Their response contained derogatory statements and things that simply were not the truth As a result, I was able to provide you with the facts through the pictures and emails that I sent to you I even included proof of our actual communications, including dates and pictures.Because we have been at this for two months now, we are seeking to get back half of what we paid for the flawed dress which equal $ This amount is being requested because, as you can see in the pictures we sent you, our daughter wore a flawed dress at her senior prom So much sequence came off the dress that it was actually bare in spots and threads were hanging everywhere We actually had to safety pin the dress to stop the sequence from falling anymore (which was not a nice picture)It was humiliating and upsetting that our daughter had to endure this embarrassment and humiliation at her Senior Prom Additionally, we wasted two hours of our Sunday to go to the store (because XO Formals instructed us to do so the night of 4/20) It was a waste of a trip for XO Formals denied talking to us on the phone and provide us hope and information as they said they would take care of it, but never did I have spent so much time, gathering proof and facts to rebuttal information that XO Formals provided you We have tried numerous times to settle this with the store, but to no availThey refused to communicate with us until the Revdex.com got involved We are so disappointed that this business will not take responsibility and that they chose to lie about our interactions Unfortunately, if XO Formals would have originally told the truth and took responsibility, we would not be where we are But the time, money, and effort that I spent on this for the last two months is unacceptable They need to take responsibility. We truly appreciate the help of the Revdex.com and look forward to hearing from you If you need us to resend photos of the dress or documentation that proves our communication with the store, please let me know Thanks so much for your help!Regards, [redacted]

To whom it may concern,On February 10, 2017 the customer came into Formals XO to find a prom dress. She found a dress that she liked and purchased the dress. All of the dresses in the store are manufactured with extra length to insure that all girls will be able to have the proper length. Formals XO...

did no alterations to the dress for the customer. Sequin gowns are especially fragile and should not drag on the ground. Before dresses are taken out of the store, any damages to the dress will be fixed. With that being said, the dress did not leave the store with any damage to it. Once the dress leaves the store, it is the customer's responsibility to carry the dress to ensure nothing catches the beading. The customer never called the store to say anything was wrong. When the customer came into the store on May 11, 2017, 11 days after the dress was worn the first time, and informed an associate of the damage, the dress was looked at and a small patch of beads was missing from the bottom of the dress where it hits the ground. Formals XO informed the customer that we would contact the designer and see what the options were to fix the dress. The customer shipped the dress back to the designer to be fixed. She stated that she would need the dress for May 20, 2017 because someone else was wearing the dress. The designer fixed the dress and sent it back via [redacted] 2-day Air, tracking number [redacted], and was delivered on May 19, 2017 at 11:44 AM; the dress was shipped 2-day air at no cost to the customer which is approximately a $75 charge. The customer has been nothing but hostile to the employees at Formals XO and threatened to contact lawyers and news stations. Fornmals XO has done everything they can to fix the dress and make sure the customer received it back in time for the second wear date.Sincerely, Formals XO

Review: We ordered 10 dresses for a wedding there and the owner [redacted] was rude and disrespectful the whole time with us. She refused to fixed the dresses that came in that were defective and she always lied and said she fixed them when she didn't. She got into 3 people's faces screaming and yelling and cursing at them saying the F word and called security on them. They were paying customers and didn't do anything wrong but go there and pick up their dress that were said they were done but when they went they weren't. That is no way for a business owner to act. She also called me a few times yelling and screaming telling me that everyone is getting there money back and she doesn't want to deal with us. We did nothing wrong but order dresses from her. She is rude and this is assault and aggravation.Desired Settlement: I want the dresses fixed and given back to me with no problems and no charge. I should receive the dresses brand new with no problems at all.

Response:

Dear Revdex.com,

In December this bridal party did start looking for gowns, unless the brides mother was with them, they would yell at us and brow beat us. Formals XO did go beyond the call of helping the customers, we not only ordered in their requested sizes, but also ordered extra pieces for them just in case they needed an alternate size.

When the girls came in to get measured they carried on so bad, one of the bridesmaids RIPPED one of our gowns that did not go to the wedding party, not even apologizing and laughing that they did this, which they need to pay for having this gown fixed. [redacted] expects to receive beautiful beaded gowns for nothing, as her girls "don't want to spend the money." These gowns are orginally 350.00 each and in trying to work with them on price, we sold them for 200 each. The gown has a few loose beads which we have no problem and fixed them. The bridal party is mad before they come in the door, if you can't afford to be in the wedding say NO! Formals XO gave them a major discount which we never do, not once are they friendly or thankful.

Now on two of the gowns at the bust seam the beads need to be moved around, her girls started yelling at me 'ARE YOU BLIND" SO at the price they received and the abuse to ALL the employees, they may

A- RETURN ALL DRESSES THAT HAVE NOT BEEN ALTERED OR THE SEAMSTRESS THAT THEY ARE WORKING WITH MAY MOVE THE BEADS. FORMALS XO WILL NOT FIX ANY MORE BEADS, WHEN THEY ALTER THEM THEY WILL GET MOVED.
