Review: I purchased a pendent from a display at the gallery, in secret, for my wife. I arranged with the owner to pick-up the pendent at a later date. When I returned to pick-up the pendent, the owner had kept the wrong pendent, and the display had been removed by the artist. The owner stated he would contact the artist to see if they still had the pendent, and have it sent to the gallery. From my phone I emailed the owner a picture of the pendent , which I had taken on the day of purchase. Several days past, the owner had not communicated any information. I texted the owner, no response. after a few more days I messaged the owner stating I wanted a refund. He then responded, wanting me to wait to see if he could get the pendent. I told him no and asked for a check to be mailed to me. He stated he would. A week has past and still no check (it is a 1-2 day delivery).Desired Settlement: That I would be refunded the $[redacted] for the pendent which I have never received.
Review: We have purchased what we thought to be an authentic artist photograph at this gallery on 4/11/2015. However, after [redacted] the owner of the Gallery already charge our debit card, when we went back to pick up the item a week later, we were told that the Artist refuse to sign the cover the art work because it was not his original work.
Since they have miss-re[presented the art work, we decided to not proceed and requested out money to be refunded. We Spoke to the Owner [redacted] on the phone , and he agreed to refund the next day, since he was not in the shop at that time., However, this person had never refunded our money back to the debit card, when we try to reach him, he was extremely rude, and frankly will hang up on us and not provide any explanation of why it was not refunded or when it'll be refunded.
We do not wish to escalate this to a confrontation, and would like to ask Revdex.com's help to resolve this issue.
This gallery owner not only miss-represented the art work, he is also being fraudulent regarding our refund.
We NEVER picked up the art work, once we found out it's not the artist's original work, however, he is still holding our money at this time.Desired Settlement: Refund of our money of $156.00
