purchased 2 jars of mushrooms, have had them before, 1st jar had tiny mushrooms, no flavor, didnt hydrate, asked for money back for 2nd unopened jar
My husband ***. *** purchased me 2 jars of morel mushrooms for christmas, I tried one jar and they didn't hydrate well and were so tiny they had no flavor, I decided not to open the 2nd jar because they were a bit pricey and their site says 100% guarantee of freshness and quality so I emailed them and so did my husband who bought them for me and they said they don't do returns which makes no sense because it is unopened..just wanted my money back for 2nd jar and return address to send the unopened jar back..$49.99 for two I would like to get $25 back since I feel like I received a very poor quality of mushrooms..thanks for your help
I would like to return the jar of unopened mushrooms and receive $25 returned to us for a product that wasn't good..The 1st jar I opened was terrible, they were too tiny and had no flavor, I have been eating mushrooms for 50 years and this is the first time I ever threw a mushroom out because it wasn't fit to eat, and I'm sure they might occasionally had a few bad ones..just want reimbursed for the unopened jar, I think that's more than fair..thanks
We are sorry the customer was not happy with the size or flavor of the dried morels. We sell the morel's both by quantity and by weight. We sell one one full jar, and one pound as picked. The customer can also specify the minimum number of morels they'd like to receive (30, 40, or 50)
We definitely do not exactly specify the exact size of each morel as they can vary from morel to morel. One person's large could be another person's small.
As to the flavor of morels, these are picked from the ground and sold, we do not alter the morel's in any way. Different size morels do not taste differently, other than the large one's potentially having a different texture due to their thickness.
The flavor of the morel largely comes with how you prepare them and we cannot control that.
Our return policy is posted on our website. It state that we cannot accept returns on the morels because they are a food product. We could not accept morels back and then resell them because of food safety concerns.
Therefore at this time we are unable to refund or accept a return.

the site has a 100% guarantee of that you will be happy with them..I am not, if I get bad groceries at the grocery store I return it for a full refund or exchange and I expect the same from a company I spent $25 a jar for, AS a company I am shocked you wouldn't just refund the $25 for the unused jar that a customer was not satisified with...not happy
