Review: It came to my attention in a very confrontational and awkward situation that my office staff at these apartments relinquished information to a tenant that I was complaining to the office about noise they make and the distasteful sexual actions that his girlfriend (not a tenant) and him were preforming on his back porch for all eyes to see. Now we have become a target to these people and by all means they are not the safest people on this earth. The girlfriend is a very violent, unstable, and unpredictable woman. The complaints put against them were mainly on her because she would scream loudly while cursing, she would use her car as an annoyance or a means to show power by backing out fast or speeding off even while little kids were out playing. She would bang doors loudly where the entire building on each side could feel it. She has been seen slapping and punching him. She is presented herself to be very dangerous. Now that the office staff has listed our names and why we were complaining we are now the target of idol threats, small vandalizing to our private property, and have been told on to several other different tenants that we are snitchers and no one will talk with us or even look at us. I also have two small children and I am very worried that she will finally retaliated while I have my children. I have confronted the office about how illegal and wrong for 1) violating our confidentiality by releasing our names and what we have complaint about these people, and 2) not removing the non-tenant and allowing her to violate several rules listed under the contract rules. They stated that they are going to take care of the bad tenant but will not tell me how because of confidentiality, of course. They stated the office personnel that opened her mouth has not been there for a week but now she is back. And they will not release us from our contract because there was no violation and they have no early release clause. This too me is entirely wrong way to run a business and treat their customers.Desired Settlement: I would like to be removed from this place without responsibility for the rest of my contract. But that I am sure you cannot do, but I wish. I would like them to be looked into further and hopefully be reported against. If their score drops a little that would be great because they are not anything close to what they say. There is several other reviews I have read with similar issues on dealing with noise complaints. I just need help because I feel very uncomfortable and stressed in my own home.

To Whom It
May Concern:
I am writing
in response to [redacted]’s letter regarding the complaints that she has
brought to the office regarding her neighbor. Every time that we have received
a complaint of disruptive or inappropriate behavior the neighbor in question as
received a notice. He is responsible for his actions and the actions of his
guests, and myself as well as my other office staff members have spoken with
him regarding each notice. My office staff has been spoken with regarding the
allegations that we told him who had made the complaints against him. The
office staff member who has been here since the complaints started stated that
she never released any names or apartment numbers and my other office staff
member was not here to know all of the issues that have happened. When we serve
a notice to a resident for a lease violation, that resident has 10 days to
comply with the notice. If we do not receive any other complaints or concerns
within the 10 day time frame we have to assume that the problem has resolved
itself. There are rules that we must follow as apartment managers, we cannot
just evict a household due to a notice being in the file. With that being
stated, we are in the process of taking care of the situation at hand.
I have
explained to [redacted] that she if she wants to vacate she can. Forest Creek does
not have a buyout clause and she will be held responsible thru the end of the
lease or until we re-rent her apartment.
Sincerely,

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]
Although what she has stated in her letter she has told us are truths, there is something she is not stating that we were told personally. I will accept that response and move on, but I will not be staying at this place and I would like this complaint to be public so that others do not fall into our issue. We were very fond and happy with our office management and now feel violated and like we do not matter to any of these people. We cannot trust them with any information of any kind. Thank you for your quick response. I hope that maybe they have learned from this experiences because I certainly have. We have taking this matter in our hands with a landlord specialist and a realtor. So in the end we accept.
