Hi,I have left a couple of messages now with the [redacted]. I have not received a call back from the last call. As owner of Ford and Haig Tobacconist, I have not ever been contacted by a customer who claims to have not gotten his change. I cannot believe he didn't get his...
change. The person on duty that day was my manager and he is trustworthy and honest. In addition, the till that day came out perfect and so the only way he didn't give the man his change was to have pocketed it and that is highly unlikely. My manager tells me that the man left the store and then returned asking for his receipt and made inquiry about his change. He never demanded his change. The receipt lists his change amount of $25.63. It is incumbent on customer to count his change before leaving any business. Apparently this did not happen. Not once did customer ask to speak with the owner about any problems. Sure is odd that he went straight to the [redacted]. In the best interests of everyone concerned I am happy to give the customer another $25.63, but he needs to call me and explain his side of the story first. [redacted]
