n short - *** contacted me over years after this central a/c installation was completedby law, like every other HVAC contractor and many other trades, our installation is warranted for yearthere is no issue with the installation, never has beenthe customer's complaint was that some
rooms would not cool as much as the othersthis is because there were manual air dampers installed and over time of them had closed 1/way to completelybefore even knowing this complaint was written by her, I did manage to send a service tech to her fathers house, that did open the dampers and resolve the issuei did NOT charge the customer, even though it was in my full right to do sowhen originally trying to schedule a visit, the customer advised me that this issue was NOT an emergency, and was only available on fridaysbecause of this, I had never agreed on a date/time & instead advised the customer that if an opening were to show up, that I would fit her ini do not owe any refund as requested and would not provide any reimbursement had another contractor gone out to resolve an issue as the system is in working order, it has been years, and she does not have a service warrantyi think that it is very sad and unfortunate that the customer feels that she has been taken advantage of - that couldnt be any further from the truthi am in good terms with her father, the owner of the property, from whom I have also done repeated business with without issue
