9/25/17Telephone response obtained from company as follows:The company stated that orders placed online give consumers an approximate delivery time plus minutes however they cannot control some things such as how busy the restaurant may be, weather or traffic.The company stated human error caused the problems with this orderThe company stated the driver, through an app, is supposed to press when they receive an order, when they arrive at the restaurant, when they leave the restaurant and when the order has been completed/deliveredThe company stated that the driver mistakenly hit upon arriving at the restaurant.The company stated they realized the error and contacted the consumer to advise them of the errorThe company stated they told the consumer that per the restaurant, the food would take about another minutes to be done- the company stated that the consumer was not happy.The company stated they told the consumer they would comp (refund) the cost of her food order only but would not comp the delivery & gratuity fee.The company stated they did misspeak by telling her that the refund would show in 24-hours, they learned that it can take 48-hours depending on the bank.The company stated that the driver did proceed with the food delivery however when he got there to deliver the food the consumer refused the orderThe company stated they did do an adjustment on their end by notifying the credit card processor of the amount for the refund but again it can take 48-hours to show and they are not sure if its calendar days or business daysThe company stated that the charge that will show is the $delivery fee plus the 18% gratuity fee, roughly $dollars(the company did not have the billing information in front of them at the time.) The company stated they did not speak rudely to her because she said she was recording the call

The company stated the driver, through an app, is supposed to press 1 when they receive an order, 2 when they arrive at the restaurant, 3 when they leave the restaurant and 4 when the order has been completed/delivered. The company stated that the driver mistakenly hit 3 upon arriving at the restaurant.The company stated they realized the error and contacted the consumer to advise them of the error.
