Business terminated without advance notice to those who have rented and no confirmation of refunds
I happened to send an email asking what the policy was for Covid 19 since Disney was main reason I was taking my family to Florida. I get a response that he has shut the business down and accounting and lawyers are liquidating- not one mention that I would be receiving a refund of the $955.30 that I had paid in full for a rental home. I sent the other email making sure he knew I wanted my money back and he did not reply. I understand this virus has caused alot of businesses to close but you do not keep it a secret and not notify and refund paid clients. I want my money back and I have zero contacts as to who to go to...

Please help me I don't know what else to do
This company I booked with in September and give my initial deposit of 375.00,, I had emailed Matt B the house angent a few times since then, I sent another payment in on March 4th in the amount of 1880, and I sent an email letting him know that I sent another payment and I was sent a receipt, I emailed again on the 18th Of March and was sent a email saying that the are sorry but they went out of business

Day before we were to leave for Florida and check into our houses we received an email no longer in business - may not get money back
As a collegiate softball coach I rented 2 houses through Follow the Sun Vacation Rentals via Matt Birkey as the sales agent. He looked for houses that fit our needs, quoted us the prices and we paid for them. The days leading up to our trip, I called several times to get the check in procedures. The day before we left I received an email saying the business has gone under and lawyers would be working to try to pay back anyone affected. They had a message on the phone that said they would get back to us if we leave a message and have never heard from them or any lawyers since.

This company-Matthew B-cancelled our reservation made through Home Away. We booked the home and gave a deposit on 11/08/2019. The trip was scheduled for 05/2020. We received a phone call and an email stating the owner cancelled our reservation, no reason stated, and we needed to secure our refund. Home away sent Matthew a hard deadline email stating he needed to refund our deposit. He has not answered them, or my repeated messages either. This is unacceptable.
