Flying Rhino Cafe

On 1/17/14 they charged an unauthorized tip to my debit card. (I left cash) They are in agreement about the error but have not refunded my money! My mother and I have called the restaurant in question several times. On at leasst 3 occasions we spoke with Kathy the bookkeeper(?) who assured us she would credit the account. My debit card was billed for $18.59 according to my Webster Five online account statement and I signed for $14.00 and left a cash tip. Kathy stated that the waitress put another customer's tip on my account. (there were four of us dining together and we each paid our individual share of the bill). We have had to call several more times and we keep getting the brush off and I have not seen a credit on my account all this time! Basically I feel that they have stolen money from me and completely ignored it rectifying the situation. It is not convenient for me to go in person to demand to be compensated. It would cost me more in gas money than what is owed. I think it is despicable that a local business can give me the brush off regardless of the fact that it is a small amount of money. I have had to hold on to this receipt which is fading and give them ALL the information on it at least twice....a sign of how inept they are. If this is too complicated for them, they can mail cash or check to my home address. I also want an apology from management and reassurance that this is not typical of how they run their business.
