When I was first contacted by the customer about doing her wedding flowers for July 4th, she was informed that we would be closed for the holidayShe said she had no problem picking the flowers up on the 3rd and storing them in the hotel
refrigeratorMrs* and of her attendants picked up the flowers on Friday July 3rd, I showed them to her and her friends, the flowers flowers were in perfect shape and all were very pleased.I had placed water tubes on all the bouquets and told her to check them first thing the next morning, if they were drooping to place in water to pump them upOn their way out I wished her good luck and told her to put the flowers in the refrigerator immediately because it was so hot outsideShe said they had one more stop to make but they had air conditioning in the car.I recieved a call about the flowers from one of her attendants a full eleven days after the wedding, and then from Mrs * the next day.She was very belligerent and would not let me speak at all.I feel very bad about Mrs * having her special day ruinedIf I thought for one minute that it was my fault her flowers weren't right, I would not only refund the bad bouquets but the whole orderI have been a florist for over thirty years and after viewing the photos feel very confident that her flowers showed signs of exposed to too much cold! Quite frankly I am shocked to be accused of such mishandling of her wedding flowers (something that I take great pride in)The facts of the matter are that when she left my shop the flowers were in perfect shape, when she removed them from the hotel cooler they were not
