Flotten Lake Resort Limited

Nice quiet location, if you can look past the overall rundown condition of this place. Unmowed grass, dirty showers, missing cutlery, missing appliances, no t.v., burnt picnic table tops, garbage in the bush, dirty b-b-ques with no propane, dirty windows, thread bear curtains, locks that don't lock, cobwebs and cocoon. I think you get the picture!!

Don't even think about going here. I wouldn't go here again if it was free. The most ridiculous unprofessional outfit. All the cabins were dirty and smelled like smoke. The so-called bear guides were drunk, the four-wheeler fell out of the back of the truck multiple times. Tire and wheel came loose on one of the trucks. The barrels weren't baited before we got there and they didn't bait during the day. The outfitter and "guides" were messed up the whole time. Worst of all when we pulled the bear hides out when we got home they had multiple knife holes in them and one of the bears had half of its belly cut to one side. Taxidermist said he never ever seen anything like it. They should be shut down.

Booked Guided Fishing trip for Aug 9 - 13, 2016 for 3 people with [redacted] of Flotten Lake Resort Ltd on or about Feb. 14 or 16, 2016. Paid $3000 up front on [redacted] on same day as trip was booked. Last contact was Feb. 16, 2016 by email.Tried contacting the resort starting on June 9, 2016 by phone. Tried early morning, midday, afternoon and evening and there has never been an answer. Only a message saying your call could not be completed. My daughter [redacted] has sent 3 emails with no response, the last being sent today.
