This business was in the neighborhood working on a large tree removal job. The owner knocked on our door & advised we needed some large tree limbs trimmed. I agreed & he gave us a written estimate,also to include our gutters cleaned out. I told him I would think about it & called him back the next morning. Later that morning, Saturday, 2 of his workers came by & did another estimate, for the same price, which I signed & agreed to the price. They stated they wouldn't have time to work on the tree & gutter cleaning that day, but would return on Monday. When they returned on Monday, they stated the price would be double from what the original signed proposal was. Stating that their tree climber said the pitch of the roof was too high. What kind of a business gives you 2 quotes for the same price, you have a written proposal & then they double the price when they show up? The worker advised me the owner was aware or this. .I heard nothing from the owner. I gave him 24 hours to contact me & I called him, left him a message & never heard a word. Very poor business practice!! Would definitely not recommend to anyone. I also noticed that this business is not BBB accredited, but on their proposals & advertising post cards it states they are BBB accredited.
