Dawn Froncek hired me as a volunteer. I was there in the Venice location every Tuesday morning for 15+ months. The office manager, Ashley Wingham was very rude to me the last morning I volunteered. When I got home, I emailed to MS. Froncek and told her what MS Wingham told me in regard to the food brought into the breakroom every Tuesday morning. Dawn Froncek told me that the office manager was too tired to respond to me nicely. I resigned at that time.

I have been abused by the staff at Florida Cancer now for years. While my physician is excellent, the staff is the exact opposite. They could care less about people, they have no respect for anyone's time, they are inefficient and at times arrogant, never prompt and consistently out of touch for patient care. On a typical day you can wait 1.5 hrs to get a blood test and then 40 minutes to get a shot; all of which takes 5 minutes to accomplish. You typically get the second team for blood. They typically hit me numerous times because these folks are inexperienced. Many high school grads who have no training outside practicing on my arms. When you ask for the first team (and get them 25% of the time) these are pros and usually get me in one stick. My recommendation is to seek out treatment centers like either private oncologists or institutions like Moffit, Lee Health or Cleveland clinic and avoid being one of their statistics. I did and I feel better about it.

Was given an appointment for a PetScan. Went to the clinic and told I needed a mask. Said I don’t wear a mask because it is a sham. The manager came out to talk to me. Said because they have to wear a mask, all patients needed to wear one. I said I would gladly wear a mask is they could show me scientific proof that a mask works. They would not answer my question. Was told since I would not comply, I needed to leave. I even reminded them Gov DeSantis asked all companies to stop the mask mandate charade. They still wouldn’t listen.

This business is the perfect example that Cancer is nothing but a money making machineThe doctor's(in my case DrShalin S.) has no clue how to relate to his patients and can't even answer one question without trying to look it up on his cell phoneThey whisk you in the office and shoo you out as soon as possibleOnce you are done with the expensive chemo and radiation treatment, things get even worseYou sit in the waiting rooms for ever waiting to get your blood drawn and forget scheduling more than one appointment on the day you see a doctor They even have the nerve to deny you your patient right to switch doctors when you don't feel like getting played by your assigned doctor anymoreThey take your request to switch, write whatever they want in the request (in my case I requested to switch because I disagreed how my doctor treated me, he turned it into I disagreed with treatment) and he had the nerve to deny my request I would suggest to just find another treatment facilityThey are choicesThey only reason I went there to begin with is because my doctor "knows" someone there (probably a golfing buddy) I give them two thumbs down!

I have the worst experience with front desk for taking an appointment in Florida Cancer Specialist , Brian [redacted] , Clearwater. Ms. [redacted] told me to ask my referral doctor to send all details , after whole day running behind my doctor finally it was done. Called [redacted] again and she told "she got the document and is busy now will call me tomorrow"
Next day I waited half a day and finally called her office. I was surprised to know that she has weekly off today !!!!!!! I requested another lady Mary to find details and book an appointment. She told she don't have papers in front of her and will check in [redacted] table. After 3 hrs she called me and told she is not able to get the document!!!!!!! Two days gone no Dr. Appointment .......... This is how patients are treated.....
