Floors Plus/Interior Force

Review: [redacted] had my Acacia Handscraped hardwood installed without letting me know that substantial levelling issues were present once the carpet & existing tile were removed. He just made a costly and rash decision that I wouldn't want the added expense. Regardless of cost, we needed the floors level due to my husband having a drop foot and nerve damage on his left side. The workmanship (or lack thereof), was devastating as well. He stated prior to the work being done: "My guys are amazing! I've been working with them for years". He certainly didn't have anyone amazing do the work in my home. Floors slope at transition points, floors are not level in many areas, bulky transition molding was used that is a total tripping hazard, large gaps around fireplace present, and large 1/4 round (rather than the standard size)was used also without letting me know- apparently to hide the large gaps between where the walls and wood were supposed to meet. When I explained that he had to correct his mistake at his cost, he abandoned the job and didn't respond to my email and two follow-ups. Honestly, I was shocked that he has an A+ rating with the Revdex.com. I have basically just lost my $3,500.00Desired Settlement: The only way to adequately resolve this issue is to refund the full $3500.00 paid so that I can have the current floors pulled up and new flooring installed after foundation and underlayment are prepared.
