Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Melissa had told me that the manufacturer would come to my house to see the carpet Then when she was on the phone with me she said she showed them pictures The manufacturer never saw the pulls in person My rug is separating, not only pulling Melissa did put a glue there but it is not holding As far as a warranty, Melissa told me that I had a warranty on my rug when I got this rug in or The rug is only 4-years old I feel as though this company sold me a cheap rug and the rug is coming apartThis is not a good quality rug that I was sold In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Thank you for bringing to my attention the concern of Ms***I take my business serious and strive to be the very best I canIhave been in business for a little over years and have what mostwould call a perfect record, until now. Here at Floors Direct
we sell some of the finest flooring products foundanywhere in the industryWe are a NON-SERVICE company, it's postedin many locations In my store as well as on invoicesWe do notmeasure, bid, schedule, collect or pay for servicesWe do makeavailable a wall of plus business cards ranging from local food toattorneys and every thing in betweenThis business model has worked.for plus yearsSo well, that I have received awards for being the bestat what I do.Ms *** stopped by my store shopping for flooring the early part ofJune At that time she wasn't sure as to what she was looking for,but she would know it when she sees itShe stated that she had aconcern with the intense sun and heat that comes through her windowsin that areaI shared with her at that time, I was not aware of anyflooring that would hold up to that environmentApparently heroriginal vinyl floor had been adversely effected by the sunI suggestedthat regardless of where or what she buys, to make sure she pulls herblinds primarily in the wanner months to help avoid any potentialfuture problemsShe stated, that was not a concern of hersI told berthat it was a very small task and is highly recommended.Ms *** ultimately choose a product from Shaw IndAt the time of thesale I again recommended pulling her blinds during the heat of the day.She for the most part totally Ignored my suggestionI told her that I wasoat of the care and warranty brochures and encouraged her to go online
to Shaw noors to get a better understanding of how to take care ofher new floorI toldher it was very clear as to wbat was and wasn'tcoveredIt very specifically Instructs to pull blinds in areas of directsunlight.Right after the Door was installed, Ms*** stated that the floor wasbeautiful and she loved itI thanked her for the opportunity to help withher flooring purchaseI also reminded her once again about her blinds.Approxtwo or so weeks later I received a call to let me know that shewas having her installer back out to look at what appeared to be a bu.ffseam of a plank that was popping upSomewhere in the beginning of
Sept- I received a call from Ms M***She said a couple otherplaces were being affectedShe told me that it looks like the product asshrinkingI asked at that time if she had heen pulling her blinds, shestated that she wasn't- I called Shaw Industries to have an inspectiondoneThey would not do a field visit, but to have the customer bring ina couple of the un-used plaaksThey would send them out to a lab todetermine the causeAlter the test was completed, Shaw Industriesdeclined the claimThe laboratory test was for heat and dimensionalstaltilityThe product met minimum requirements for both testsI letMs*** know of their findingsAs expected, she was not happy andwanted Shaw's phone number she was hiring an attorneyI told herthat I had a customer walking in and if she was in a hurry, there was a 1-number on the boxI asked her to keep me in the loop. Now here we are, approxmonths later and 11m being contacted by theAttorney General of WashingtonTotal surprise to me, never seen itcomingI had to assume Ms *** had accepted the findings or Iwould have been contacted long before nowI'm sure it's coincidental, but here we are back in the wannest months of the year and I'mreceiving your letterMs *** refuses to take responsibility for lierpart, even after being advised by both me and Shaw Industriesregarcliag the warraaty aad guidelines of her llooring productSheadmittingly and deliberately choose to not follow the directions of bothmyself and the manufacture. For the above reasons l straggle with giving anv kind of compeasationregarding this claimThere is no evidence identifying boors Direct asbeing negligent in any way.Sincerely,Doug M***Floors Direct owner
