Flooring Expo - Roseville

On June 18, 2016 I entered into an agreement with Flooring Expo of Roseville, Minnesota to carpet my whole house. I paid the 50% down and all but $500 in the time requested for the installation on July 25, 2016. Arrangements were made for the dog to have doggy day care in a specialty center and contract work arranged around that week. I stopped to see the agent on four occasions to assure that the work would be as scheduled. On Saturday, July 23, 2016 I was informed that the padding materials did not arrive on the truck on Friday and that the installation would have to be delayed. It was rescheduled to be completed the week of August 1, 2016. The delay caused many issues for contract work - rescheduling or cancelling and trying to seek care the the special needs dog. The carpet was install on August 1 and 2, 2016, and the molding was to be installed at the same time. The individual who was doing the molding installation ran out of materials that will now take at least an additional week. Bottom line, nothing can be put back from the carpeting that is currently stored in the attached garage until the molding work is completed. Living out of a garage because materials are not received in a timely manner is not the way to spend a hot summer. If you are considering Flooring Expo, please be aware that timelines and accountability for the correct materials is not their forte'. You may wish to find others who have a better track record of meeting their commitments for service.
