I am rejecting this response because: There were way too many unacceptable issues that I had to deal with during the installation process, all going without multiple attempts for a response until I got my lawyer involvedOnly then did Kevin decide to respondThis includes issues with not showing up, issues with using baseboards from other areas of my home and cutting them up to fit (leaving other areas without boards and areas where they put the boards looking terrible), I am still looking at the hole in my wall near a baseboard that I keep trying to ignore because of the issues I've had dealing with themAnd the area in my hallway where the floor boards didn't meet up evenly are STILL an issue (just not as bad as they were prior to them coming out to fix it in March)NOT A PROFESSIONAL FINISH TO WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A PROFESSIONAL JOB.And for MrRooney at Flooring Depot to say that the labor increase was removed from my bill is NOT ACCURATE!!!!! My final bill, even after removing JUST A PORTION of the increase, was still almost $OVER what was AGREED UPON as my final price, which Kevin knew ahead of time that the final price we agreed upon was my absolute most that I could afford (and I had even asked him to keep it a few hundred under that)! He so conveniently never would give me any pricing as he said he would through the conversations we hadHe always just told me he would get back to meI made it very clear what my absolute highest was though, on multiple occasions I just stupidly signed the paper when he came over at the end because he made it sound like I had no other option, and I had no idea who to go to with any complaintsTrying to share all of my issues with him was going absolutely nowhere (and was told those things are to be expected from installers in that line of work) and he didn't let me know that there was someone else I could speak to (which I actually asked him if there was someone higher up that I could talk to), and didn't know until I called in December and spoke to ***, another employee at Flooring DepotHe was the one who then referred me to Mr [redacted] in Customer S*iceSo I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT ACCEPT MrRooney's response to my complaint
We are very sorry about Ms. [redacted]'s experience and the unfortunate events that lead to her displeasure. there is no doubt that we could have improved upon the communication process in this instance. The missed appointment and the lack of response from the sales team are not our typically...
behavior. Although there were some unusual instances for the missed appointments, that is no excuse for not communicating properly. As Ms. [redacted] stated, there were some issues with the installation. Mr. [redacted] worked diligently to correct those issues as noted by Ms. [redacted]. Although we do want all projects to run smoothly and without incident, upon occasions mishaps need to be addressed and corrected and the Flooring Depot did try to respond in a timely manner.Unfortunately, there was a labor increase due to unforeseen issues during the removal of her previous flooring. However, that increased was removed (credited) prior to Ms. [redacted] signing the financing paper-work that noted the original agreed upon price.Again, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that was caused to Ms. [redacted]. The Flooring Depot strives to provide a pleasant and rewarding experience for all customer.Brent RooneyFlooring Depot Store Manager1002 W.
