I've had Flooring Concepts do the remodeling of my entire home. First time was about 2 yrs ago I had my master bedroom along with master and guest bathroom's remodeled. Abraham and his crew did an exceptional job I was very pleased. Last year 2019 I had the rest of my home remodeled again I used Flooring Concepts to remodel my remaining two guest bedroom's, living and dining area's along with completely gutting out of the kitchen. They installed all new custom built (beautiful) kitchen cabinets, knocked down some walls to have an open concept thru the dining and living area. My living area had a step down to a lower level, Flooring Concepts raised the whole living area up to where it was level with the rest of the floors in the house. It has made such a wonderful difference, not to mention looks beautiful. My home looks so open and I've enjoyed every minute I spend in my home. I also had my fireplace converted to gas and the job done was excellent. I've enjoyed my fireplace especially during the cold days and nights. All the work was completed and excellently done, everyone was very courteous and easy to work with.. I recommended Flooring Concepts to a very good friend of mine, she had Flooring Concepts remodel her master and guest bathroom's. She too was very pleased with the final work done. I'm very happy and satisfied with the excellent work Flooring Concepts has done for me and would highly recommend this company to anyone. Thank you Flooring Concepts.
This 1 star is due to the lack of work integrity, honesty and accountability. Words that for sure not understood by this company or its' owner, let alone putting to practice.
In Aug. 2019 I was out of town, and I was informed by my daughter of a water leak coming down my master bedroom's walk-in closet. I trusted Ibrahim *** with a key to my house to fix the problem. He decided that the dryer vent pipe needs replacement after opening the ceiling. He then informed me by text as you can see below, that a new pipe was installed and patched the ceiling. Upon my return I went to his shop Floor concepts and paid him his requested fees of $1350 (too much money for such a job!)
Less than 9 months later, in May 2020 I had a company by the name Chimney Sweep come in to clean up chimney and luckily, I asked them to also clean the dryer vent. Michael once opened the vent cover located on the house side (outside), he was shocked, and said "I see a flexi not a pipe, this is a fire hazard and violation of city code, you must call fire department or the company to replace the flexi with a pipe. You can NOT install flexi in closed walls".
I called Ibrahim to ask about this job, he fought, argued, yelled etc. I said, you texted me that you installed a new pipe, this flexi should not be in closed wall, it could have burned down the house.
Long story short, he took no responsibility, no apology whatsoever.
What hurt me the most is the fact that he was willing to risk my children's life for a job that he thought will never be discovered, nor will get caught.
It is not the mistake that matters, what matters is the willingness to correct the mistakes and to own to your fault especially when you know you have wronged your client and betrayed their trust.
I am not sure such company/ owner will care about their online reviews or image, and I don't have the time to go file a lawsuit, but I think you need to think twice before you hire floor concept and let them inside your home.
The pictures are showing:
- His text to me explicitly stating he installed a pipe. (see image of his text).
- And the other picture showing the flexi running inside the wall/ ceiling of my walk-in closet, upon fixing it for the second time in May 2020

May 2017 I hired Floor Concept INC in Garland TX to tear out my old shower and replace it with new hardback board, tile faucets and grouts.
May 2017 I hired Floor Concept INC. *** N. *** Ave *** Garland TX 75044. The owner of the company his name is Abraham. His workers came and tore out my old shower and replaced the hardback board, tile glass door and the faucets. I noticed this month that my grout in the corner of my shower is cracking and I happened to run into Abraham at Lowes 2 weeks ago this month and I asked him to stop by and repair the grout and he told me he was too busy. Since then I have called and left voice message texts and no respond. I have paid him 8,000 and he will not answer my request. I am on disability and I don't want to me stressing which is bad for my health. Can you please contact and help me get this issue resolve as soon as possible. God bless and Thank you so much!!!

Mrs. saw me about 2 weeks ago in home depot or lowe's
and she said that the grout has a hair crack at one joint.
I told her some times the grout due to settling or shefting, and some hot and cold surrounding that cuae the grout to open. and I told her that she does not have to worry due to that water resistant hardi board are installed on the back of the tile.
I stated that we will take care of it. and told her to just give after thanskgiving I will send the guy to caulk it, since we are overloaded to finish the already scheduled jobs.
and she said ok.
2 days later she came to the office and she started screaming at the lady in the office and threatening to file a complaint with Revdex.com.
we never said that we will not do the caulking or we will not send the tile guy back to address her concern.
as far as I concerned that she said ok to send some one after thanksgiving. but when she came to the office she demanded someone to do it right away.
and she left.
we are scheduling some one to go after thanksgiving to take care of it.
