Review: Floor Specialists (owner: Anthony D[redacted]) was contracted to install the hardwood flooring in this house on behalf of [redacted] Builders, [redacted], VA) in 2012. During the one year inspection it was determined there were issues with the hardwood floor. On November 14, 2013, the employees of the Floor Specialists came into the house and stabilized the sub-flooring and replaced the troublesome hardwood and baseboards in the living room area. Upon completion, I was told that should there be any additional issues with the hardwood flooring, I should contact them directly rather than going through [redacted] Builders, [redacted]. Over the past few months, I have been concerned about the entire first floor hardwood. I understand the house goes through a settling process and it must be allowed to go through changes of season (which it has done twice). However, the cracking, popping and seemingly "weak" spots in areas exceeds that which I believe is normal under any conditions. (It is worth noting that the section repaired in November 2013 is doing fine and exhibits to me the way the entire floor should be--no cracking, popping or "weakness" or at the very least perhaps a few spots but not the entire floor.Desired Settlement: I want my letter (sent June 3, 2014) and/or my telephone calls acknowledged and returned (there have been four to date). I want to have their representative come to this house for further evaluation and assessment. I want to know what sort of guarantee they have for their product and installation. I want the issue resolved in a timely manner. I want good customer service, please.
