The first thing they did was to put a 200 dollar hold on debit card and it wasn't released til I called my Bank. I called them on the 6th day after I left, I told them to please release my funds or I would have to call my bank. The manager called me a "[redacted] punk kid and told me I cant threaten him". I called down to the bank and got my funds released. The lady told me that the actions of this business is pretty Questionable.
The next thing is they charged you a dollar per minute for a cold shower. Everything you do will be an extra charge. There has to be better businesses in that area.
There was no mention on there site about the fees or the hold. They also threatened to keep our deposit on the cabin if we didn't agree to the 200 dollar hold
Review: Having some interest in possibly staying at the campsite and being assured that my debit card was not going to be charged until I confirmed, I gave my information to the employee. Days later I was charged for $200 for a partial payment on the camp ground. I did not authorize this charge and only gave my information because I was assured that I was not going to be charged. When I followed up with the merchant, I spoke to [redacted] (manager) who told me that her employee never said she was "not going to charge me" (keep in mind [redacted] was not present during the conversation nor was the conversation recorded) and that I had (unknowingly) agreed to being charged for the campsite. This is my first time doing business with this company and I had no idea they were going to charge me. I was also misled by the first employee. I did not receive any emails or phone calls confirming this transaction either.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $200 due to the fact that I was told I would not be charged.
