Complaint Information:
text-align: left;" valign="top"> In September of Flo-Tech sold an *** device to the *** *** ** *** and provided the customer with a Cost Per Page agreement, covering all service and all suppliesBased on the fact that the Print Shop produced heavy page coverage (Mono and Full Color) prints during the term, Flo-Tech actually provided toner and services in excess of what the client actually paid usFlo-Tech had no obligation to “renew” or “extend” this contract with this customerFlo-Tech completely fulfilled our month contractual agreement

I am rejecting this response because:
Flo-Tech knowingly sold us a piece of equipment with a limited life-span and did not disclose this vital piece of information. Had Flo-Tech disclosed the fact that they (or no one else, for that matter) would offer service on this piece of equipment after 48 months of use, we would not have purchased it.
As stated in the original complaint, Flo-Tech had a previous record of providing service on equipment MUCH older than this machine to us in the past. They implied, by their long history with us as a good customer for many years, that the equipment would have a life longer than 48 months. Again, had we been made aware that this machine had such a limited service life, we would not have purchased it.
This is how a company like Flo-Tech bullies the customer into leasing equipment, instead of purchasing it, then making it difficult to get out of the continuous lease cycle.
I own a 4 year old machine that I paid over $14,000.00 for, and it is worth NOTHING at all.
Flo-Tech should accept responsibility for misleading a purchasing customer, and misrepresenting the product it sold. They "sold" us on the capabilities and quality of this machine, and are now blaming us for expecting it to keep working . . . I simply don't understand how this can be allowed . . .
Sincerely,
