They advertise a price that doesn’t exist. Found a ticket for myself and daughter, when passenger info was plugged in, there was over a $100 discrepancy. I spoke to a supervisor who had zero interest in speaking and couldn’t explain why I was seeing a price that didn’t exist.
This is an unethical company. I tried to do a round trip flight from their fare alert--which had 2 links a one way and round trip. I mistakenly clicked on the one way and stopped the transaction before completing that trip. I then hit the round trip on the fare alert, went through the steps, paid--only to find out it was a one way trip. I immediately called the cancel. No problem with the airline within 24 hours but this unethical company charged a $75 cancellation fee, the customer service rep kept telling me I was wrong. After screaming, they bumped the fee to $25 which I will dispute with my credit card. DO NO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS POOR EXCUSE FOR A COMPANY.
Stay away from this company you book a flight overseas for a two week period you pay for 1 check bag and 1 carry one bag as there web site states and your conformation email shows. When you get to air port you find out they booked you on the cheapest class no check bag. Who goes overseas for 2 weeks without a checked bag. When you call there customer support number you get an over sea call center who tells you it's the air line fault then they tell you it was your fault and at last they say the web site has a disclaimer on baggage and you are out your 190.00. You call tell from the off set that is the job of the support person to give you nothing. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!
Terrible experience. HOURS spent on the phone waiting on hold, dealing with overseas call centers, inept customer service representatives. Wait on hold for an hour only to be disconnected mid-conversation (TWICE this happened) Called the airline direct and they said I was able to change my flight, but had to go through justf* Justf* (3 different reps) REFUSED to change my flight - just mentioned a vague 'policy' that they were unable to verify of not changing tickets once a ticket was 'partially used' Extremely frustrating, a huge waste of time and in the end NO SAVINGS AT ALL! Avoid at all costs.
I booked a flight through JustFly for my daughter and 1 yr old baby. The over all flight was Texas to Syracuse NY, with a 5 hr layover in Newark, NJ. The flight after 5hrs of layover was delayed 5 times, then after the 6th hour cancelled. They were not helped, could not get a rental car. Stranded with a baby. We had to get someone l2 drive over 4 hours each direction to get them. I am having no luck getting refunded for the cancelled flight and I paid for the. Travel protection JustFly cannot help me at all. I have been on the phone for over 4 hours trying to get JustFly to reimburse and make good on the insurance I paid with no luck at all. Just wasted 4 hours and upset me more.
DO NOT USE JUSTFLY.COM
I was booking flights for my sister and her boyfriend and found a $500 flight which I was amazed about. It is the easiest check out you only put in names and card info amd they give you the option to chose your seats if you want to pay extra. I made sure I did not select any, did not take their cancellation insurance and whatever other things were on the side then it gives you a big BOOK NOW no price listed Then you look on the side once everything is processed and in a little square you will see that you basically paid double. I was charged over $1800 instead of the 1000 I was expecting.
could not cancel on the website because it was withdrawing the money from my account. Called and now I have to pay $75/per passenger to cancel!! Needless to say NO WAY I ever look at this website again and WILL NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
Terrible customer service. No email address to contact. Phone support puts you on hold for hours. Finally the agent online was no help at all. Website did not allow me to cancel my flight so I cancelled on the airline website. Now Justfly tells me I will not get a refund because I did not cancel with them and will also charge me $75 for cancellation. Never book through them
Last November my wife and I booked three round trip tickets (at $1,800) with a travel agency called Justfl*** for our family to go see our friends in Costa Rica. Very suddenly (within the same day of purchasing flights) we had to reschedule our trip because our lodging accommodations changed. So we had to cancel our original tickets and book a different date.
...I realize cancelling tickets is already a risky business even when dealing directly with the airlines and most often you aren’t able to get a full refund. However, Justfl*** assured us that if we pay an extra $500 “cancellation fee” they would give us an $1,800 credit which we could use to book a flight to Costa Rica anytime before 2019.
Yesterday we called Justfl*** to redeem our $1,800 credit and book a flight. My wife was put on hold for an unusually long period of time. Then she was transferred to at least three different people, none of which could find any record of our credit. Finally her call was dropped in mid-conversation after she expressed her concern that this seemed very much like a “scam”.
We are going to try again today to reach someone at Justfl*** who can in any way possible help book our flights to Costa Rica... but it certainly looks as though we were ultimately scammed for a grand total of over $2,300.00.
CUSTOMER IS IS BY FAR THE WORST I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!!. FIRST OF ALL, NOT ONE REPRESENTATIVE SPEAKS CLEAR ENGLISH!!. SECOND, BECAUSE ENGLISH IS NOT THEIR FIRST LANGUAGE, THEY GET MAD AND HANG UP ON YOU AFTER BEING ON HOLD FOR 45MINUTES WHEN THEY MAKE A MISTAKE!!!. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO THROUGH THIS PIECE OF CRAP WEBSITE TO BOOK ANOTHER FLIGHT!!!!! IF ZERO STARS WAS AN OPTION THEN JUSTFLY GETS A -10!!!!!!!
Our experience is similar to others. My daughter was charged a $19.99 extended cancellation fee, and was told that she could change her flight reservation within 24 hours at no cost. She tried to do that, and was charged $300. Just Fly (which is difficult to reach, and you will be on hold forever) advised that their fee is THEIR fee, and the airline cancellation fee is extra. Also, after changing her reservation and being charged, it was changed at all. Their customer service person continually interrupted, but did finally agree to simply cancel the flight and to charge only the $19.99. I am skeptical that this will be honored, so will contact my bank immediately to challenge any charge over that amount. Avoid this vendor if less expensive travel is your goal.
This is a pice of *** Company that cares absolutely nothing about its customers. They falsely advertise prices On tickets with very specific connection details then change those connections or details increasing your layover times. Bait and switch.
These people are now on my *** list!
I feel that I am being scammed - I booked 1 RT flight but was charged for two! Just fly is not helping to resolve the issue and making me pay 2 times for 1 flight claiming that I have bought non-refundable flights. ALSO the wait time to call is so long, making the 24 hour timeline to call for correction extremely unreasonable. After placing on hold for > 1hour at 1am, I decided to call following day. I was put on hold again for > 30 minutes and had to end call as I have to go to work. Their business practice does not make any sense!
Here's the details: I used Justfly.*** to book for a trip from LAX to Cuzco aug 18-26. However, I received 2 emails (at the exact same time - ) that I was booked 2x (first one correct, second one 17-26 which is from a computer glitch since I never booked that). It is a weird computer glitch; and there was no way that I could have input my information along with credit card information at the same time (8:50pm on 7/3) for 2 different flights so 100% a computer problem! When I tried to call Just fly the the second time to correct for this (note, the first times I called I could not get through for 30min-1 hour), they told me it was a mistake on their end and will cancel and refund me on the second booking. However a week later, I did not see a change on my bank account nor a confirmation email. I called Just Fly again, now speaking to 3 people on same day. The call + on hold time of 45 minutes = 2.75 hours still without resolution. They told me to contact ***, who then told me I need to talk to Justfly since they are the booking service and Avicanca only deal with flights that was booked from them directly. I want a refund for the service I will never use (aka the extra ticket the computer self-populated). It is impossible to get a reasonable response and I will never use Justfly again and advice anyone else from using their service.
JUSTFLY...I will never use them again. I called their customer service today for support...sheesh! they are more interested in getting you off of the phone than anything else.
Completely inflexible-Of all of their competition that I have used they are by far the worst---bottom of the barrel.
Justfly.*** doesn't take responsibility for their mistakes. We had requested vegan meals on our flights to and from Dublin, Ireland and on our way to Dublin only my wife had the correct meal given to her. They did not communicate that I too had a vegan meal requested almost 4 months before our flight. Then on the way back to Los Angeles, our flights were supposedly confirmed to be right next to each other but the airline stated that only 1 seat was reserved and the other was not. We never had any problems like these with other booking companies and we will never use them again. They said they could not do anything about it and to talk to the airline when we arrive for boarding which would be too late by then.
Terrible travel agency.
I was to fly to Bangkok through Taiwan on July 9th, 2018, on a ticket purchased through Justfly (with Eva Airlines). My Justfly booking number is ***. However, due to weather problems (a typhoon), my ticket was cancelled. Eva Airlines got me on a flight for the next day (July 10th) from SFO to Bangkok, but when I asked about my flight from Taipei to Bangkok, the airline told me that I had to speak with my travel agent. I then called Justfly.
I spent nearly 4 hours on the phone with various Justfly agents, including a supervisor named "***" (or "***", something close to this). I initially spoke with two agents, and both times I lost the connection (I do not have connection problems with any other person from the location where I made this call, only Justfly), both times I asked the agent to call me back if disconnected (since I had to wait 20 minutes on hold the first time, and 30 minutes the second), and both times the agent failed to call me back-even though they had my phone number. *** (the supervisor) later told me that one of the agents did try to reach me, and left this note in his daily notes. However, my phone showed no account of his call, and certainly not a voicemail proving that he called. It is not enough for an agent to simply leave a note in his records, the agent must actually call me such that my phone rings, and I then have an opportunity to answer. If the agent had entered my number and pressed "call," but the phone did not ring, then this does not constitute a "call." This is basic common sense. No such call came. Completely unprofessional, inconsiderate, and unacceptable.
I thought that this might just be a problem with just the one agent. However, I learned that this is a much bigger problem at Justfly.*** . When I called back (late morning, Pacific Standard Time, USA), I asked to speak with a supervisor. The representative (***) finally got me on the phone with the supervisor, ***. After being on the phone with *** for two hours, explaining to *** that I simply wanted to make sure that I had a seat on a flight from Taipei to Bangkok for July 11th evening, the best that he could do was to get me on a waitlist for this route. However, as I explained to ***, I had spoken earlier in the day with Eva Airlines, which said that I could get on a Thai Airways flight (leaving Taipei at 8:05 pm, arriving BKK 10:50 pm) under "class Q," and that Justfly merely needed to provide this information to Eva Airlines. But when *** supposedly related this information to Eva Airlines, he came back to tell me that I had only two options: 1. Accept a refund for my ticket (which would have required me to spend an additional $250 to get a new flight through which I could arrive to BKK by on July 11th), or 2. Put my name on a wait list (which at that point would have been very long). I told *** that this was very inconsiderate of Justfly, especially since I had called over three hours earlier (and would have been much higher up the wait list if the agent had properly handled my case). I told *** that there must be a problem here, and there must be a better option for me. He said that there was not.
After this, I then called back Eva Airlines. They answered relatively quickly, and gave me a confirmed seat for the Taipei-BKK flight, with the same travel time as I mentioned above. They told me that they knew nothing about any kind of waitlist, and that they never said this to *** at Justfly.com . Eva Airlines then guaranteed me a seat for the 8:05 pm departure from Taipei on July 11th, without any charges. Interestingly, they also told me that Justfly is extremely difficult to deal with due to general incompetence and lack of care for their customers.
I made a complaint with Justly and asked for a small monetary compensation. So far no reply. I will remove or update this post if there is a reply.
Travel insurance got added to my flight purchase without my approval. On trying to call the company, I was on hold for many hours total, for multiple tries. Still have not managed to get through. I am now placing a dispute with the credit card company. Shameful underhand practice. Don't do business with them!
Itinerary dates change without notice, and you will pay cancellation fees for no mistake you made!
I bought my ticket on justfly***. I called the airline to add my TSA-pre. The airline informed me that they did not have TSA-pre service but they do provide expedited clearance. However, they could not add the service because justfly*** has blocked all edits to the ticket.
I called Jutfly and explained the situation clearly to the agent. The agent kept asking me for my TSA-pre number. I explained the situation above again but the agent again asked me for the TSA-pre number. I asked if I could speak with another agent since we were not***municating well. She could not do that. So I hung up and called again.
I went through the same procedure with the second agent who also kept asking for my TSA-pre number. I explained the situation once again and again he asked me for my TSA-pre number. I asked why he is asking for the number when I keep telling him that the airline does not provide the service. He then hung up on me.
something that should've taken couple of minutes of my time took in total 1.25 minutes, including writing this review
We booked a round trip from Jacksonville, FL to Dallas, TX for the dates of July 26th-July30th with an insurance policy. We called today (July 5th) to cancel the trip as it was for our son to visit. He lost his job and will now be driving home with his dog and therefore cannot fly. Not only would they not take our cancelation insurance, but they would only refund our ticket if we paid $75 for canceling, and an additional $200 PER TICKET (so an extra $400 per round trip) in order to receive a voucher. So our original $375 for a round trip would be over $1,100.00 if we chose to go this route. They also would not allow us to put the ticket in our name even though we are the purchaser. This may just be poor service, but it seems like an easy way to scam people by making it seem like they can easily purchase affordable tickets and buy insurance for "whatever comes up" and then tag them with lots of fines.
I'd give 0 stars if I could. I attempted to book a ticket from LAX to Bali with them as they claimed the best price. Of course half way through the booking the price magically went up. It was still somewhat competitive so I completed the booking (despite having to uncheck unwanted insurance several times). I got a confirmation email and thought everything was good to go. Wrong. A few hours later I got an email that there was a problem with my credit card. I call my credit card - no issues, and note that there's a $1,900 charge for the tickets. I call justFly - they tell me nope it didn't go through. We argue for a bit, they agree to re-run it. Turns out there was a $0 charge from JustFly which didn't go through, and the $1900 was from China Airlines. They assure me that the charge is just a temporary authorization and will drop off after 24 hours. Ok, fine, so I think all is good now. Next evening, I get an alert from my credit card that my credit limit has been exceeded! Come to find out, there's 3 additional charges for $1900 from China Airlines.
On top of all this, I can't get through to customer service - selecting the option for help with an existing reservation just gets you either a fax machine or hung up on. I've seriously called them about 2 dozen times trying to get through. Funny enough if you select option 1 for ticket sales you get someone right away. I finally get to a manager who says he'll cancel the charges. I'm not taking any chances and also alerting my credit card to possible fraud.
Avoid these guys like the plague!
