During our consultation we were promised something not in contract and owner denied the service promised when the time came to deliver.
I got married November ** 2014. Months prior in our consult, she said all layers of wedding cake could be cut at the reception, straying away from the tradition of keeping the top layer. She said to call prior to the 1-year anniversary and she would provide the anniversary cake. I called on 2/17/2016 in regards to this and she returned my call on 2/24/16 stating that she has never said that and has never done that for any of her brides. First of all she cannot tell me what she has told everyone else and I honestly do not care to hear it anyways. I know what she told me. I know it is always customary to keep the top for the anniversary cake, but we didn't since she said she would provide at that time.
I left a business review on her PUBLIC Facebook page and she came back threatening me with a lawyer and later deleted her post after I told her I had every right to review her business. I have pictures of our conversations because I know when backed up in a corner she will deny everything just as she has done to me. It is entirely my fault I did not get this in writing and I know this for the future but I want her to know what she did was wrong. We paid almost $2000 for the wedding cake and groom's cake, we are seeking no compensation or anything complimentary from her but she thinks we are. I would never ask for anything from this business ever again. As a business owner she should have done the right thing to begin with.
