Recently my fiancé brought our car to bmw for repairs he was given a loaner while driving the loaner he was stopped by police and was told the car was reported stolen he did 4 days in jail because of this the day after he got out he got a call from bmw and agreed to come in to pay any fees and to pick up a our car he walked in 10 minutes later cops were called again and I still don’t know why.... he was arrested again my problem is they still have our car and I need it back we are willing to pay the cost for repairs but I’m afraid of going there and having them call the cops on me too
Customer had vehicle towed in stating the vehicle died on road on 03/29/18. At that time customer received a loaner on a suspended license, which was not known to us at the time. We did a safety recall on the vehicle and provided an estimate for its repair. The estimate was for over 50k. We emailed the estimate to the customer on 03/30/18 along with a follow up email. We called and emailed on 04/03/18 and 04/04/18 with no response from the customer. On 04/04/18 we reported the vehicle stolen, as we had no response from him. On the morning of 04/06/18 we received an email stating the customer had a new phone and would be contacting us by noon and requested we send over the estimate again. We sent over the estimate and again no response from the customer after that. On Monday we received a phone call from the *** Township Police stating our vehicle had been recovered and was impounded in Easton PA. We sent a tow truck over to the holding lot to get the loaner car and pay $395 storage fee. The recovery tow from Easton back to Flemington was another $312 . When we received the vehicle back we inspected it and it had been smoked in and liquids had been spilled in it causing us to have to clean the vehicle, another $249.95. The personal belongings of the customer were moved from the loaner to his personal vehicle. We did not hear from the customer until we called on 04/13/18 to find out what the customers intentions were with his vehicle. At that time we were told the customer would be down at noon time. Customer arrived at the dealership at 4pm. We had been instructed by *** Township Police that if the customer showed up at the dealership, they wanted to talk with him. Police arrived and talked with the customer approx. 30-45 minutes before arresting him. Customer came to the dealership on 04/21/18 to collect his belongings but did not pay his bill. His bill stands at $1180.16 at this time. We would like for the customer to get their vehicle back.
In May of 2016 I purchased a new 2016 BMW X3 28i vehicle from Flemington BMW. Along with the vehicle purchase, I also bought 1) a 72 month GAP Insurance policy in the amount of $795.00, 2) a BMW Maintenance Program Upgrade Agreement in the amount of $2,395.00 and 3) a 72 month Dent Wizard/Ding Shield Service Plan in the amount of $1,100.
On August 24, 2017, I traded in the BMW to another dealership to purchase another vehicle (Cadillac) The next day I called my original BMW salesperson, Bryan C *** about having the Gap Insurance, Dent Wizard and BMW Extended Maintenance products canceled and requested a pro-rated refund. Bryan indicated that he would put that request into the appropriate person at BMW. The 2016 BMW was paid in full on September 1, 2017, yet I am still waiting for a refund for the three contracts that I requested cancellations for. Over the past two plus months, whenever I try to contact Bryan he tells me that the refund is "in process". I asked if there was someone else, i.e. BMW Finance, that I could contact in order to get further info but he has thus far ignored my request for any further information. There were several instances where I emailed and/or left voicemails asking for my refund and I was not given the further information that I requested.
Since I am getting nowhere with Bryan Clark or the Finance Manager, Jan-Michael B *n getting my refund, I would like the help of the Revdex.com to help expedite this issue. I feel that a large company like BMW should not be allowed to hold onto a customers' money for more than two months after putting in a request for a refund.
