In response to Mr [redacted] 's complaint, Choice Auto Painting would like to state that due to the backlog of hail damage repair we have been letting every customer know that repairs are taking longer than usual to completeTypically a job like this would take weeks to complete, this one was quoted to take 2-weeksIn this case, we have run into underlying issues while getting it ready for painting and are repairing those items, totaling approximately $900, at no extra cost to Mr [redacted] Some issues that have occurred have been preexisting bodywork that needed repair and fully stripping the vehicle (~hours extra work at $44/hr) to ensure the new paint will not fail which we have let him know about when he has calledWe plan on giving Mr [redacted] an additional discount of $upon completion of the job for a total of an $discount for his patience and understanding

I am rejecting this response because: I’ve called up there more than times and they still have not given me a due date on when my car will be doneThree weeks ago, they told me that they started painting and when I called today (Aug-1-2016), the lady I spoke with said that my painting process had just barely begun todayDuring the entire process, they have inconvenienced me, leaving me with no transportation for longer than originally statedIn addition, they have failed to communicate regarding any changes and additional charges/damages with me as they occurred

A vehicle gets painted on same day its taped up - the prepwork is what's time consuming and that is whats finally done
