I had contacted this business as it was the only authorized Heat & Glo fireplace repair company in Westchester County I was having problems with my gas fireplace I made an appointment and a tech came to my house, required immediate payment and said he repaired the problem, he didn't and the fireplace kept starting up on its' own I called the company again and another tech came to my house and said it was fixed It is still not working and now they don't answer their phones This business is unprofessional and did not repair my fireplace, nor answer my numerous messages left on their answering machine I have reported them to the manufacturer they represent

Review: We purchased an expensive (over $3,000) outdoor gas fireplace set up. After less than 1 year of use (with 6 months of no use at all during the winter), the burner on the unit failed. Flames came out to the house - and charged me $140 - to remove the unit and take it back to their shop for testing. They claimed to "fix" the unit, came back to my house, reinstalled the unit, and it failed after 1 hour of use. They returned to my house, removed the unit, and have had the unit all summer (close to 4 months now) telling me constantly that they will get it fixed "in the next week".The burner is made by a reputable company. Flames claims they are trying to resolve with the manufacturer. However, we have NO USE of the fireplace and now they are simply ignoring my calls.I can only conclude that they DO NOT stand behind their equipment.Desired Settlement: I would like my broken unit replaced, as I have told them on multiple occasions.They have equipment they could install at my house TOMORROW if they wanted to. They are simply stalling and telling me what I want to hear - that they will fix it - but since they haven't done it in 4 months, I can only conclude they have no intention on standing behind their products..
