Traded in Ford Ffor Ford Flex on Oct Made clear dealer must provide dealer cash to cover excise tax, title, and registration fees We settled on $ After taking my info, finance office *** ***, informed me my credit had been accepted by a lender and I would receive and drive home in the vehicle The contracted price was: $27, He told me the dealer would send the dealer cash with the title when they sent it After I returned home, I called two additional times to verify status and Mr*** assured me everything was ok On Oct I received a letter from the lender telling me credit was denied per the terms of the original application The letter also gave a counter offer of $25,for months The letter stated if I accepted the counter offer, I should contact the dealer within days to let them know
I again contacted Mr*** without informing him about this letter to see if he would tell me credit was denied He

My husband and I purchased our first vehicle together (Ford Explorer) from Joe Cooper of Shawnee and while the buying experience itself was not horrible the lack of customer service, respect, and communication afterwards was astonishingWe had asked for tags, tax, and title to be included in the loan and had the process of the check being mailed out to our address explained to us by not only our sales rep (Kevin Vaughn) but also the gentleman who put together our finance paperwork (Ken ***)About a week before our tags were due I sent a text to Kevin to ask when we should expect the check which he looked into and came back saying "Got with finance and it wasn't financed in." Of course I asked why to which he replied "It was never put in the loan, I remember talking about it but it looks like we never worked it in." My husband spoke with the sales manager (Braden) and everything went downhill from thereFrom them telling us that it was our fault because we failed to ask about it a second time to never hearing from the GM, Mark ***, whom we attempted to contact for over a weekIn the end we of course paid for the TT&L ourselvesI would never recommend this dealership not even for the fact that they didn't comp us the $but simply for the disrespect and absolute poor communicationCustomer service should always be number one priority and once that car was driven off the lot they couldn't have cared lessI couldn't be more disappointed

These people use Bait and Switch techniques

Joe Cooper Ford of Shawnee has punished me and my family this cold winter
My family do not fit in our VW TiguanI decided to trade it for a Ford Explorer with third row seatThe ***et value of my trade in was $12,-$13,000.00, however I owed $7,and Joe Cooper agreed to pay it off for me to purchase their vehicle
I stated clearly to *** *** the finance person that I dealt with that, I have been pre approved from Tinker Federal Credit Union(TFCU) and I will only sign a contract if the loan is through Tinker, they have a lien on my vehicle*** *** agreed and I signed the contractThey kept giving me excuses about the title for four weeksMeanwhile TFCU sent me an email that my loan has been paid offI went to TFCU to find out why they accepted the payment and haven't sent me the title for the new vehicleIt was there I learnt that they declined the loan because Joe Cooper added the pay off amount to the loan that raised it to $25,000+ and my

As a senior aged woman with a handicapped widowed single parent daughter with and year olds, we shopped at Joe Cooper and said we needed to trade my daughter's husband's truck, an Silverado(Steve had dropped dead suddenly in mid August.) Because it didn't seem like it would be enough of a down payment, I included my Encore with only 45k mileage We selected a vehicle and started the paperwork, not realizing they weren't giving any equity, only payoff I called the financial person three days later (we had Thanksgiving) and said trading my vehicle was a mistake and I wanted it back I was told that wouldn't happen The titles and payoffs were not done and everything had zeroed out on the purchase paper, so the dealership was not out anything They are not a very people friendly business, just in it for the dollar It really burned me to see the internet listings for more than $10,more than they gave us toward the purchase Again I asked for our vehicles back I spent the morning asking who was in charge, finally called the financial guy who said he didn't have anything to do with pricing and he handed me off to someone else who was a manager, who again said the deal was final, like it or not Beware if you are doing trade ins Additionally, the paperwork was incorrectCaught them once when he had the purchase vehicle $1,more, but missed the incorrect purchase amount on the settlement sheet They also put the payoffs together on my Encore payoff, which made it look like $5,more, and didn't even show the Silverado payoff Payoffs do not necessarily meet your loan schedules either We are headed to arbitration I would like to do star rating, but it won't let me

Brought the car in with only the engine light onWas handed a inch piece of wire with a nick in it (I have no idea why the "mechanic" would cut the wire out) and was told it was from the knock sensor and that was "probably" why the engine light was onWas told it would be at least hours to fix, couldn't leave my car there that day so I said I would come backAfter leaving noticed the wrench light was on along with the engine light and car was sluggish from a stopAlso started noticing a clunk when putting car into gear and when I had to put it in reverse it was so bad I though someone ran into the carI opened the hood and saw where the sensor wire was cut and also saw two other wires cut near the sensor wire locationHad to wait to bring the car in until the service manager [***] was finally back in because nobody else could helpWas told the wires were chewed by rodents and accused of lying when I reminded him the car ran perfect when I brought it there and the wrench l
