Hello ***, I am again apologizing for the fact that we could not make you happy with our servicesWe at Five Star Painting are not perfect, but we do strive to please everyone that we possibly canOnce in a great while, that just isn’t possibleWe fully intended to address each of the issues that you had, but you chose another routeTherefore I am sending you a check for the $that you are asking for and considering this matter closed Regards, [redacted]
I have seen the customer's complaint and I would first like to talk to our crew that did the work along with the production manager in charge before responding officially to the customerI will be back in touch within the next couple of days
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This response is full of incorrect statements and pretense.1) Foreclosure, yes I agree- wasnt expecting a perfect paint jobBut when there are HAIRS AND ROLLER DEBRIS PAINTED IN ON TOP that has nothing to do with itThe drips are able to be pulled off & are the color they paintedHow about the drips of grey (the color they painted) on the freshly painted doors & trimOr the debris painted into the stair base that was CLEARLY not there priorThe ridges in the ceiling for the light fixture- your statement makes no sense - if you remember we removed all the light fixtures so we would not have this issue and it would be easier for them to paintWe removed the majority of the outlet covers, etc & any we did not required us scraping all the paint off.2) The stair spindles as well as the rails are PEELING off & underneath it is GLOSSY! Why would he have cause to tape any of these?3) Painting the kitchen? really? You didnt even paint all of it because I stopped them & that isnt even the color for the kitchen!! So I had to pay for wasted paint.4) You overpainted the trim on a bathroom I wasnt going to paint- which now requires paintingThis is an absolutely POOR paint jobI will split the difference with you, as anything I can put towards correcting this atrocious work is better than nothing($600) of a $job Sincerely, [redacted] ***

because:This response is full of incorrect statements and false pretense.1) Foreclosure, yes I agree- wasnt expecting a perfect paint job. But when there are HAIRS AND ROLLER DEBRIS PAINTED IN ON TOP that has nothing to do with it. The drips are able to be pulled off & are the color they painted. How about the drips of grey (the color they painted) on the freshly painted doors & trim. Or the debris painted into the stair base that was CLEARLY not there prior. The ridges in the ceiling for the light fixture- your statement makes no sense - if you remember we removed all the light fixtures so we would not have this issue and it would be easier for them to paint. We removed the majority of the outlet covers, etc & any we did not required us scraping all the paint off.2) The stair spindles as well as the rails are PEELING off & underneath it is GLOSSY! Why would he have cause to tape any of these?3) Painting the kitchen? really? You didnt even paint all of it because I stopped them & that isnt even the color for the kitchen!! So I had to pay for wasted paint.4) You overpainted the trim on a bathroom I wasnt going to paint- which now requires painting. This is an absolutely POOR paint job. I will split the difference with you, as anything I can put towards correcting this atrocious work is better than nothing. ($600) of a $5400 job
Sincerely,
