The movers showed up 4 hours late. They punched a whole in my landlord's ceiling. They destroyed my furniture. *** kept telling me he would make it right, but he failed to do so. I have pictures of all the damage. He kept telling me he would file a claim, but failed to do so. He has admitted fault, but has failed to fix the issues.
I have patched the hole and before I could come back to put 2nd coat, it was painted over. I am still willing to go put final coat of sheetrock mud but the phone was broken with the texted landlord contact info and damage pictures that were stored in texts on broken phone. I am reaching back out to the customer to get damages resent. Carrier's liability is .60 cents per pound per article. We are within our 90 day allotted time period to issue reimbursement and will have it done on time but may need to resend claim acknowledgement form. Will reach out to customer right now to get resent damages. thank you for this opportunity. can I get this rating brought up please? we have taken very good care of our customers and will continue to do so. we apologize for any problems we have caused. -
Complaint***
I am rejecting this response because:
The business has failed to process my claim after advising me they would do so in a timely matter. It has been over two months without a resolution. I have sent the business pictures and details of damaged property on multiple occasions. The business has admitted fault in damaging not only my property, but also my landlord’s Property. This has also resulted in me losing part of my deposit from my landlord.
Regards
I filed a claim with the company after they moved my house. The movers showed up at 11:45pm. A mover who had worked that morning (and was exhausted) showed up with his date for that night (a girl who knew nothing about moving) and his father (who also had never moved before). Two months prior, I had purchased brand new *** mattresses with adjustable bases for my son and I because was was having horrible nightmares and couldn't sleep. These 3 drug the mattresses through the mud, thus voiding the warranty on them. They muddied and tore the waterproof mattress covers I had on the mattresses protecting them, which they took off. They lost pieces of the bed and completely broke the adjustable components, rendering them useless. After almost 3 months of texting, emails and phone calls in which I was PROMISED that I would receive a payment for these mistakes, I have to date received nothing but empty promises. I was told they cannot keep the company afloat and have no money to pay me on the claims. They do not have insurance that pays.
