It was not noticed that we were being billed until yesterday, 10/3/and that is when we contacted them and they told us they will keep billing us and we can't stop themThey had no answer as to why they had stop billing us for 1-year (because we cancelled it is reason) and then started billing us again 3-months ago without any permission and completely out of the blueUpon review or bank records, it was found they started billing us 3-months ago on 8/3/(about a year after membership was cancelled)
By signing the agreement, member is fully agreed to the terms of the agreementIt is stated on the agreement regarding permanent closure, that Women's Fitness World may permanently close or move the it's club without effect on this agreementWomen's Fitness World has the right to transfer your membership to a comparable club withing miles of the one affectedIf WFW is unable to transfer membership, terms of cancellation will applyPlease read your agreement, you can also request a copy of your agreement by calling 619-425-and ask for Member Services Department
Our El Cajon facility was closed for several reasons; The El Cajon location is not making enough income to cover our monthly expensesWe put signs all over the facility and a poster at the front desk regarding the closure of Our EL Cajon facilityWe also provided information regarding transferring members to other other club, per member legal binding agreement that upon closure, as a company we have the rights to transfer all members to a different club that offers the same service or close to what we offer to the membersMembers that's qualify to cancel were given an option to continue or cancel their membership if they choose toMembers that is still under their obligation were automatically transfer to other clubAny other concern they can always call us and we are happy to assist them
Per Agreement , it is disclosed that for any reason that the gym is closing, all membership will be transfer to another gymWe have another gym in Imperial Beach and all members have the option to use that facility or can cancel their membership in writingAs per her daughters membership, by law
she has no rights to Cancel any other membership other than hersHer daughter can choose to continue her membership to the other facility at Imperisl Beach or she can cancel as well. Thank you

the notices were not put up in enough time for us to cancel and not have to pay for the following month. My complaint is not that they closed it's that they charged us without giving us enough notice to cancel for the following month if we didn't want to transfer.

Members that's qualify to cancel were given an option to continue or cancel their membership if they choose to. Members that is still under their obligation were automatically transfer to other club. Any other concern they can always call us and we are happy to assist them.

Women's Fitness World has the right to transfer your membership to a comparable club withing 10 miles of the one affected. If WFW is unable to transfer membership, terms of cancellation will apply. Please read your agreement, you can also request a copy of your agreement by calling 619-425-4400 and ask for Member Services Department.
Review: I have been a member of Fitness World for a few years now. The gym in question has a key less entry system. I went last week and was unable to gain entry. I called the number listed [redacted] and left a message. I have called continuously with, no success. I also called the [redacted] Gym number in [redacted] and found that it had closed down, re: [redacted]. I know that the owner owns both gyms. I do not believe that I should pay for a service that I cannot use. A sign posted in Fitness World 1 states that if you cannot gain entry, that it could be due to your contract being over. Even if that is the case. They should not continue to take money and not provide the service.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my membership cancelled and a refund for the charge that they have just taken out of my account. Even if they just stopped taking money from my account I would be happy.
