After I canceled my membership, this gym continued to charge my cardI complained to the owner, and he refused to credit usHe was rude, and unhelpfulMonths after our discussion, this business started randomly charging our card again! I have since blocked this business (through my credit agency) from charging my cardFitness is a business that has little regard for customer satisfaction and unapologetically steals from patrons
I signed a formal cancellation form with this business in March of The business continued to withdraw the monthly membership fee for three more months(April, May and June) at which time I returned to speak to managementI was told they had no record of my cancellation form, but that they would 'try to resolve the issue.' There were no charges for three months, but in October our account was debited yet again for $I returned to the business and was told I needed to submit another cancellation in writing, which I did- but I still have not been refunded for any of these four unauthorized charges, which total $It is disappointing to see a loss of integrity in business practices, and I will be advising my neighbors and connections on social media to avoid this gym because of this

I am rejecting this response because: I do not believe this is right I bought consecutive monthsi don't want to use them in the futureand I do not want to go to that other gym, for personal reasons I also bought the training sessions to use consecutively, and I am not able to do that either Its not worth it nowand I am very upset with the customer service I would appreciate a refund of my money and cancellation of my term membership./

After we had canceled the husband's membership, on the way out of the club, he had told us to cancel his wife's membership as well. This gave us verbal confirmation to go ahead and terminate the wife's membership. We had not charged either of these members a cancellation fee of...

We can look into the possibility of issuing a refund as soon as we have the ability to access our system. We are unable to do so yet as we are still without power in the building. We looked into the matter and also have documentation that we did respond to the member's Facebook message within 20 minutes of messaging us, so we are unsure why they are unhappy with the customer service and also unsure why it was escalated to the Revdex.com. We are currently working through all of the kinks this fire has caused our business and we are doing our best to stay on top of it. As of right now it shouldn't be much longer until we can re-open the facility. The fact of the matter is that our hands are tied until we have our systems back. We have also tried calling the member and left a voicemail. We are trying to help but haven't received a response.
The gym's phone is off because there is no power due to the fire. We have responded to many members via Facebook but it's almost impossible to keep up, however we are still working on the list. We have only been down 10 days. Crews are already working on repairing the gym and getting it up...
and running again. We plan on honoring all lost time for our members. We also provided them a free 2 month membership at Max Fitness so they have a facility to use while the building is out of service. We have honored all of our contractual obligations.
Review: I was a member of fitness 140 for approximately 3 years. I moved from the area and approached fitness 1440 to let them know May of 2013 would be my last month. I signed a form indicating my intentions. My credit card was billed for the month of June 2013. After going to fitness 1440 the first time, they told me they did not have record of my intentions. I completed another form and the gentlemen explained to me he would have go inform the owner ([redacted]). After about a week, I noticed my card had not been refunded the $37. I went back again and [redacted] was still not available and the gentlemen explained once again he could not help me. He called [redacted] and asked [redacted] to come over to resolve the issue. [redacted] again was a no show. The gentlemen at the front desk was asking some questions I considered odd an irrelevant to the situation. He had an attitude that seemed to suggest that he really didn't care and I could take my problem elsewhere.Desired Settlement: refund my credit car or send me a check for $37. Also, I would like to be assured my credit card will not be billed again.
