Fitbit is a dishonest company that produces products that everyone on their community forum knows fail within the first year. They guarantee the product for that first year, but their replacement product will also fail within a year. And then there are no more replacements.
Fitbit figures, they can take almost $200 from you, and give you 1 product, and 1 replacement, and then you're out of luck. They still make a huge profit.
Fitbit products are engineered to fail.

satisfactory to me. They are making a one-time exception to provide me with a replacement that offers the same qualities as the faulty one and that costs the same as the model they first insisted upon providing as the complimentary replacement (which did not do everything the faulty one did). I was contacted by Fitbit but have still not received a response after responding to them about my replacement.

Fitbit was so prompt and kind to work with. They totally understood the issue I was having and sent another one. I would definitely recommend the product and the company.

I am not satisfied with the response (email received) from Fitbit. It is the exact same response already received. It is not acceptable that Fitbit is knowingly selling a fitness tracker that...
will fall apart in less than 6 months. The warranty does not cover the replacement product they send you (which again falls apart in less than 6 months.) This is consumer fraud plain and simple, there are thousands of consumers like me with this issue and they keep selling a faulty product, this is not an isolated issue and they know it. When I spend $170 dollars on a product, I expect it to last more than 6 months.
The only thing I would find acceptable is that they replace my Charge with a product that will not fall apart on me after a few months.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: My tracker is defective. This is not my fault but the fault of your company for sending me a defective product. You're discontinuing the product I currently use and yet you still won't make it right. Continuing to expect me to buy a new product isn't a resolution to the problem of my defective tracker. Providing me with a working product for my money would be the right thing to do yet you refuse to do that. All you do is tell me to buy another tracker and that's not acceptable. Fitbit sent me an email: they arranged for FedEx to send a return label so the Fitbit can be returned for a new one, in black, size small. As long as Fitbit upholds their commitment , to send a new Fitbit, I will accept the resolution as satisfactory.Sincerely, [redacted]
