Review: I enrolled in a one-year membership which ended on 12/1/13. I called the company and they told me I had to give them 60 days notice to cancel. The woman said that she looked at my contract, but I didn't even give her my name. I want a refund for the extra months and immediate cancelationDesired Settlement: Charges removed and apology

[redacted] enrolled at the facility on 11/28/12. She

signed up for a 12 month minimum commitment membership that automatically

continues month to month once the commitment period is over. Her

membership agreement calls for a 60 day notice to cancel her membership via

certified mail or in person. We are more than willing to assist Ms.

[redacted] with her issue. She would just need to stop by the facility or

send her notice of cancellation via certified mail. Upon receipt of her

cancellation we will process her request and drop the 60 day notice period to

30 days. To be clear, if we receive her notice sometime in February her

last billing will be March 1st.

Please see attached where the 60 day notice and 12 month minimum

commitment plan are signed off by member within the membership box they chose.

I am rejecting this response because:

I received an email saying that this complaint was resolved. I do not feel that it is. I still have to pay for a service that should have expired on 12/1/13. At the time I signed the membership form, I was told that I would have to pay for one year and that the box I initialled was to confirm early cancelation. I would never have signed up for unlimited membership and feel I was taken advantage of.

When I went to sign the cancellation, I asked for a copy of the membership the clerk refused to give me a blank form. I should not have to pay Fit for Life another dime.

I feel used and lied to.
