I am really sorry that you had such a negative experience at Fit 4 Life. I know it is very frustrating to deal with any...

injury, and not being able to do what you would like is a challenge.
Our workout space is approved for up to 25 people, so 15-20 should not be a problem. Our trainer's #1 job is always safety and we do our best to insure that everyone working out is taken care of.
We do have a 30 day money back guarantee on any program that we run, and are happy to refund any request made during that time. This request was made 9 months into a 12 month program, for which 2 free months were received for prepaying the 12 months anyway. We received a letter informing us of the request, and offered to extend the program up to a year to make sure you got what you felt was fair for what was paid for.
The next response we received was a Revdex.com complaint. We always try to resolve any issues you have with our program, and are still willing to go over the problem, either on the phone or in person, to try and resolve it in a manner that is satisfactory to you.
I have a PAR-Q form from her indicating that she had arthritis and trouble with joints before even starting the workout, that this was a pre-existing condition not brought on by the workouts. She also signed a waiver before working out, so although we are not legally obligated to do anything I am still open to working out a solution that is acceptable, but phone calls have not been returned and emails have not been replied to. I received 1 letter from her stating her complaint, and the next action was this complaint.

As always, John has said nothing about the program Mindbody which is not important to me anymore. He should lesson to people who have problems with the program. Once again it takes this business over a month to reply on something. My letters, June 9 and July 10 did not get answered tell July 30 by email. On August 3rd, 2015 US Mailed my letter back and never heard back on. This is why the Revdex.com had to be used. I have a hard time believe the US Postal service can be this bad! Since this has started John has lost his main trainer because she could not deal with how he didn't care about the people anymore. He stated his space can hold 25 people - but does not say how many trainers should be there with the full house. Safety should not be more then 10-15 per trainer. Also he states 2 months free - I never received 2 months free!! This is one false statement! He states I waited 9 months is also a lie. I worked out tell March 2015 and then got hurt. So I believed I would return tell June when I was told NO by my doctor. This is when I asked for a refund for the difference of all unused off the $1,611.00 which I was far in using only $800.00. John needs to re-look at his business ethics and really get to know that people he is working with. Not just someone taking they're money! Will it take him a month to reply to this again?

Mrs [redacted] cancelled her agreement on 6/19/2015. It states on the signed contract "at end of agreement contract will continue on a monthly basis until notification in writing or cancellation form is filled out. Must give a 60 day notice upon...

cancellation." The cancellation form was completed 6/19/2015. She was obligated to June and July's payment under the agreement she signed. I understand her frustration and we apologize about any miscommunication but all debits from her account were warranted under the agreement she signed. She can review her copy she received when she joined our club or we can mail her a copy of her signed agreement.
Best regards,
Eric S[redacted]
General Manager

I attended Fit 4 Life on a month by month basis beginning in December 2013. I did not sign a contract but decided to have a month by month membership that could cancel at anytime. In Janury, I paid Fit 4 Life in advance for February, March and April 2014. The end of January I began having medical issues and decided to stop going to the gym. I notified the owner [redacted] February 6th, 2014 and requested my advance payments to be returned. I told him just return March and April I would forfiet February's. He refused saying they do not do refunds. No one informed me nor is there anything in writing stating if you pay in advance on a month per month basis, your money will not be returned. Fit 4 Life is bascially stealing money from customers who pay in advance but can't continue due to health/medical [redacted] stated there is a 3 day clause. However this clause is for cancelling your membership NOT refund of monies paid in advance.Product_Or_Service: GymDesired SettlementRefund of $50.00 for months March and April paid in advance.

Fit4Life failed to honor their suspended account status for deployed military and handled the billing matter poorly after being made aware.I deployed in Nov 2012 and notified Fit4Life of my deployment. My deployment was extended and Fit4Life attempted to charge my account without notifying me. The charge was declined as the card was stolen during my deployment and I cancelled the card. After they notified my wife by mail of fees associated with the declined charge, I contacted Fit4Life by e-mail and informed them that I was still deployed and would not return until [redacted] 2013. Fit4Life refused to waive the charge or cancel my account (despite me notifying them of my desire to cancel the membership) and continued to charge me for September, October, and returned payment fees. They also sent me to a collection agency even though I was in contact with them concerning the account. When I returned from deployment, I officially cancelled my account on 22OCT13 and Fit4Life claims that I still owe them $54.99 for November's membership fee and returned payment fee.The manager at Fit4Life, [redacted] handled this situation poorly from the beginning. First, they charged without notifying me or verifying that I had returned from deployment. Second, after learning of my continued deployment and inability to visit the gym while abroad, Fit4Life did not offer to continue my suspended account status or waive the membership and returned payment fees. Finally, despite being aware of my desire to cancel my membership, the gym refused to cancel my membership until I returned from deployment to fill out the paperwork in person and then charged me another month of fees.Desired Settlement-Written Apology-Written and Signed Acknowledgement of Cancellation and Zero Balance Due
