Fisherman's Cove Seafood

Review: I ordered $400 worth of fresh seafood from business but it was sent with a signature requirement. I was home when the delivery arrived but FedEx knocked on a garage door and instead of leaving it as shipper said they were to have done, they took it with them and by the next day, the entire shipment had spoiled. I was told by the manager "[redacted]" that this would be made good but it seems like I've been lied to from day 1. I'd be happy to resolve the matter based on a 50-50 split of the loss but that doesn't seem to be possible from the lack of interest I've received. I've filed a complaint against FedEx as I was advised to do by the shipper. Right now, I'm out $400 and believe I'm being held as the scapegoat for mistaken instructions between the shipper and carrierDesired Settlement: I'd be happy, at this point, to get half of what I feel is owed to us ($200) in the way of seafood that I ordered but never received, and think that's a fair resolution. I'm talking about seafood shipment too, not money. I've eaten at the retail location that this firm operates than think it's outstanding, as do many of my in laws and think we should be accommodated for an huge mistake made by both the shipper and carrier. We love their seafood, without a doubt at all.
