President approved his request and reversed the overdraft fees in the amount of $145.00. The customer did not request his accounts be closed at that time nor did he request them to be closed at a later date and continued to use this account to deposit funds and use those deposited funds up until 10/20/2015 when an additional overdraft occurred. This additional overdraft left a negative balance in the account comprised of the paid item and bank fees. The Bank does not close accounts with a negative balance and needs to recover the amount of the item paid on 10/20/2015 and the associated fees The Bank also requires customers to complete and sign a closed account request form when closing an account which was not received by the Bank. The customers Savings account closed automatically after all funds were withdrawn (9/18) from the account and it remained at a zero balance for 35 days. Sincerely, Mark [redacted] 1st Bank
