First Lease Incorporated

Review: I purchased equipment from [redacted] with a lease through First Lease Incorporated. Part of the lease agreement required that I carry insurance on the purchased equipment. I was given several insurance options, including the option to be self-insured. I chose to be self-insured and signed a letter of self-insurance provided by First Lease. My bill for the month June had an insurance charge added to it, despite the letter of self-insurance. I contacted the company and they did not charge me for insurance. I was assured that the problem would be fixed. However, my bill for the month of July has arrived showing I owe two payments for insurance, one for July and one for June. I have never requested or authorized First Lease to insure my equipment and I have no desire for their insurance.Desired Settlement: I want First Lease Incorporated to honor the letter of self-insurance, paperwork they should have on file at their offices. I want them to stop charging me for insurance that I have neither authorized or requested. I want First Lease to stop attempting to charge me for insurance in the future.
