They are very polite and pleasant to work with;however, the quality of their work is not all that goodTheir contractors, specifically the painters took a lot of short cuts and even left a ft by ft area unpainted because they did not want to move a book shelfAdditionally, there were multiple areas where the paint is too thin and had to be repainted by myselfLastly, there is still a board that was loose in the flooring, and a lot of the molding was not adequately secured and we also had to reattach it ourselvesThere were a lot of short cuts taken and for the amount of money that was paid out we expected a higher degree of qualityI would recommend going with them only for the water clean up if you have water damage only
Over the past two years, First General Services of Colorado Springs has provided us with outstanding star service for house repairs from hail and water damage to our home, under [redacted] insurance coverage From our first contact with Joseph ***, estimator, through detailed and well managed work on our year old home under Chad's supervision, we have been pleased and impressed Water leak testing by Mark and Dominic was carefully and thoughtfully done, identifying an occult leak, leading to repair and restoration of old plaster ceiling and walls I would recommend First General to anyone in need of quality home repair Thank you First General
After all the things that went wrong this company dis fix everything and the house is doing goodEverything is in good and working conditionThey went above and beyond to make sure everything got fixed

They are very polite and pleasant to work with;however, the quality of their work is not all that good. Their contractors, specifically the painters took a lot of short cuts and even left a 4 ft by 3 ft area unpainted because they did not want to move a book shelf. Additionally, there were multiple areas where the paint is too thin and had to be repainted by myself. Lastly, there is still a board that was loose in the flooring, and a lot of the molding was not adequately secured and we also had to reattach it ourselves. There were a lot of short cuts taken and for the amount of money that was paid out we expected a higher degree of quality. I would recommend going with them only for the water clean up if you have water damage only.
Working with this company first general has been the worst experience the most stressful experience for me and my family. After being displaced 50 days was hard enough then to work with this company made matters even worse it was mistake after mistake after mistake after mistake instead of owner of the company asking is what can I do to relieve some of your guys Stress they just keep making more mistakes for more stress I finally told them I do not want any of them in my house there are more reviews like this I hope people heed the warning and do not use this company at all..
