First Data

Review: First Data continued to bill for services after cancellation was faxed in. Now they call me to dunn me thru a collection agency. They are the worst company I ever dealt with. Been in business since 1982.Desired Settlement: Cancel amount claimed due.

This customer did request to cancel 3/16/13. We made a mistake, didnt cancel the account until 5/24/13. We submitted the refund of 59.90 for his april statement charges and made sure he wouldnt be charged for may. The merchant actually had an ach reject for their March fees of 59.90 come through on 4/4/13, and was sent to collections 4/8/13. The fees for the last month of use of the account (march) must be paid. The collections balance and refund amount left the amount due at 0.00. The merchant was removed from collections (CUBS) on 10/5/13. We are an independent ISO and do not have any control over the First Data Corporate collections company. This should have been filed against them, not Merchant Department. Proof attached.
