This company is horrendous If you are looking for a property manager (especially if you live out of state), look elsewhere Our contract stated quarterly walk through of the home I think we had two reports of exterior appearance in the three years we regretfully employed this place Our fault I suppose, for not being insistent When the last tenant moved out there were cracked tiles and water damaged floors never mentioned to us There were multiple occasions that we had to contact these people to see why we had not received rent money after days On a few of those occasions, this company knew rent would be late but just neglected to inform us, until we called This company also gave us an end of month move out date for one tenant We were counting on a full month's rent so we could pay the mortgage, but received less than half Come to find out, after we called, this company prorated the last month's rent because the tenant decided to move out early They did not call us to tell us about the date change or prorating the rent I will say that I finally got the remainder of the money from them after repeated emails and a phone call implying their breach of contract Simply shameful business practices Beware of this company P.SIf you do go with this company or currently employ them as property managers, ensure you get final readings from utilities They won't ask for them for you and you'll be on the hook!
I complained about both of my screen doors either completely not opening or barely opening on Marchweeks ago I complained about the chain in my toilet breakingI didn't hear anything back so I called last week and I was assured someone would be by to fix the toilet the next dayNo one ever showed up nor have I ever received a follow up for any of the issues and it's been almost a month and a half since my initial complaint was filedThis is unacceptable business practiceI've paid my rent in full and on time every monthThis house had multiple issues that were not identified when I moved in and the house was not ready to be rented but it was anywayThe door issues are clearly a fire hazard and a violation of the Delaware code title 31, exterior structure, O"Every exterior door, door hinge, and door latch shall be maintained in good condition..." I have been invoiced by First class for work at the property that I was not consulted about -- estimates were not provided and there was no agreementMy contract with First class states that the Owner's authorization is required for work above $(per incident)
I received an invoice for $460: $for lawn cuts and $for "pruning and mulch beds"According to the invoice, this was done in JuneI did not authorize this work, was not consulted and did not receive any estimatesThey also state that there is an additional invoice for $from this company (Company A) for lawn servicesIt is shown on my Statement from First class but they have not sent me the actual invoiceThey are demanding payment for an invoice they have not providedWas this for one cut? When?
First Class did, however, contract with another company (Company B) to do work in the same monthI was consulted by First Class on this and authorized the workI w
