Review: Jan/13 bot Time Share from La Jolla-Mazatlan [redacted] We traded 2 time shares-[redacted] & [redacted] BC Can. their sale to be done by [redacted] of Atlanta Georgia & La Jolla gave [redacted] buyer for the 2 at that time-[redacted] informed us Aug 13 sale was complete-money was in & they were moving deal to First American Solutions of San Diego (FAM)who would complete the transfer of funds to us. We got Closing Agreements & Resale of Ownership Agreements for our 2 properties from FAM dated Aug 13-We e mailed FAM Sept 11/13 & told by e mail they were the escrow co handling the closing of the 2 properties & after transfer fees were paid we would be receiving 54585.00 US for the properties plus any transfer fees paid. They gave us a user name and a password into their web site - www.firstamericansolutions - from which we were able to get various info such as costs paid for title searches by purchaser. After clarification of various terms in the resale agreement we wired the $s requested for transfer fee re the funds coming from Mexico, of 8564.00 US on Nov 21/13 - the file was to be closed & we would get our money week later. Nothing happened & they pleaded delay due to delays on the funds wired Mazatlan bank. January 6/14 I e mailed re the delay - & they responded Jan 9/14 that transfer fee sent covered only portion required - the total was 12117.87 US - we wired balance 3553.37 Jan 10/14 & were to get in total 78765.00 US. No $s came & despite our e mails & unanswered phone calls & their excuses no progress was made. Jan 29 & on we could not get them on phone after 20 rings line went busy - our e mails were not answered - Mar 4 they said would keep us posted re progress - since then no answer to our many e mails - cannot contact by phone - after 20 rings goes busy or screeches or Magic Jack responds saying unavailable - web site is no longer available.Funds of 12117.87 wired to [redacted] en Mexico SA de CV in Mazatlan, Sinaloa [redacted] - [redacted]Desired Settlement: On March 4/14 [redacted] of First American Solutions advised us that our funds "were safe and that if for some reason the sale did not go through the funds and transferring fees are going to go back to the buyer and seller"Funds promised per January 9,2014 by First American Solutions were 67321.50 USD for the two properties plus 12117.87 USD for the transfer fees totaling 78765.60We would like the total but at least the transfer fees paid What recourse do we have?
