Review: I have a leak in my wall, that I knee nothing about, there were nails that had been used for pictures nailed into my wall. We had no issues with the wall until when I recently pulled the nails out of the wall. It has been about a month and a month since I pulled them out. Last week I went to paint my wall and behind a 11x14 picture frame there was mold. I called my insurance company and filed a claim, now they are trying to get me with a technicality that this has happened over time and that they may not cover it, yet there had been no issues until I pulled these old nails out of my wall. I have had this insurance company the entire time I have owned my home. The insurance claim representative Marth Flores was very rude to me on the phone countless times. I just don't know what to do, I feel as though my insurance company is looking to get out of paying for damage within my wall and trying to stick me with the bill. I have been so concerned about the claim, because I have an asthmatic son who could get sick or worse from this and my insurance wants me to stay living in my home until it's fixed. Ms. Flores said you can go stay at a hotel, but we can't authorize you to do so. A week after filing my claim American leak detection came out to my home and found what had happenedI would love to know what would happen if my son were to get sick or worse with his asthma because of the mold. I get the insurance wants to cover all basis, but this has taken forever just to get their leak detection people out here.Desired Settlement: I would like my insurance company to do their job and take care of my claim and me pay my deductible so I can resume life as normal.
