Approaching my 60th birthday, I've been looking for instruments to preserve wealth and generate income and became intrigued about Fixed Income Annuities to fulfill that goal. David Novak, the owner, cleared up a few questions I had about annuities (the web is filled with confusing information) and, within a day, provided me a speadsheet of ~15 different options - highlighting the best options depending on when I wanted to start taking income. He clearly knew his stuff. No scare tactics or bull - just straightforward advice about income generation and wealth preservation in retirement. David was very easy to talk to and, unlike many financial advisors, went out of his way to make sure I understood all aspects of what I was getting myself into.
I believe Fixed Income Annuities (FIA) is a great product for many of us baby boomers and I highly recommend First American Advisors as: 1) an education route to understanding FIA; and 2) finding the best annuity to fit an individual's needs.
