Firestone Complete Auto Care-Oak Park

On Thursday 1/28/16/ my future wife called the above to ask about an oil change, She was told that she should make an appointment to " MAKE SURE " she got her oil changed and " DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT " . Needless to say she scheduled an appointment on the following morning 1/29/16 @ 8am . She works the night shift and arrived at the above at 7:50am , but when she got there no parking was available and they were a couple lines of cars backed up to the lot entrance. She called inside and gave the person her name and appointment time and was promptly told they were to "backed up" to get her in. She was told to call back after 1pm and they " MIGHT " be able to do the oil change around 5pm!!!! ( MIGHT ) . This morning when she gets off of work she is going to try the Firestone autocare by her work in Lemont ,IL 60439 . She is doing this because she needs to drive almost 200 miles into Indiana to attend a wedding. This overall situation was handled EXTREMELY POORLY by the Oak Park store at 226 Lake Street in Oak Park, IL Why bother with making any appointment only to be told you MIGHT get service 9hrs after your SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME. The Oak Park store is close to home, but I think she will not visit that location again , and depending on her experience this morning in Lemont, IL it maybe time to move on to " JIFFY LUBE or OIL EXPRESS " .COULD SOMEONE PLEASE CONTACT ME , Thank You , Trina [redacted]
